Small towns are a good thing. Ours is great for raising children. There just isn't much for the kids to do, which can be a good thing too sometimes. When we need groceries or something, a visit to the nearest town is usually an all day event. Our nearest city is Selma. It's good for some things, but not shopping. I have to go there later for physical therapy (I was just going to say "therapy" but then I thought you guys may think I was a nutcase, so I added the "physical" so you would know I wasn't getting my head examined.

He he.. if you're on this thread then you are some level of nutcase... that just goes without saying!
Luckily our area isn't that rural by a long shot - we're in CT afterall...
Grocery is one exit over in either direction (our town is right on the highway). Walmart is one exit over (or you can get there the backway - about 15 mins.) The mall is 20-25 minutes away... not too bad overall.

She's already read ONE, and it's not like they're going to test them on both the first day of school.
I bet they won't even test them on a book uintil later that week or the next. Thanks, Bonnie! You helped me answer my own question!
