That sounds really good! I want some Chinese food! No one else really cares for it, though. I haven't a clue what I'm going to have. The kids are over across the street, so I think they're eating lunch with them.

Hi everybody!!! How are you guys today? We are getting ready for school, the kids go back Thursday! :woohoo: I love them, and all, but it's time. :hourglass My 12 year old son and 4 year old daughter are the same age. :confused3 Don't ask me how that happened. :) Anyway they bug and irritate each other and try to get each other in trouble all the time. I think they need a break from each other. He won't be gone 2 hours though and the little one will be moping around wishing he was here to argue with. My son is feeling a little sickly this morning. I feel kinda bad because last night he came upstairs and said he didn't feel good, and I said, "But son, school doesn't start tomorrow".
He is famous for getting "sick" on school days, but feeling great once he gets to stay home. I remember doing that myself. But he really doesn't feel good this time. :guilty:
I have to start packing in a little while, we are going to Biloxi to the casinos for the weekend.  I have to start the packing process early, between the 5 of us we think we have to take everything we own, then don't need 3/4ths of it. I try to cut back, but it never works out in the end. It's really amazing how many swim suits and outfits a 15 year old can need for a 2 night stay.

Good Afternoon, MM! (Do you mind telling me your name?)

I understand what you mean about school. . . My son is starting kindergarten and my daughter is starting high school! Mommy is going to be a mess! :sad1:

My daughter used to feel sick the night before and morning of the first day of school. I hope she's outgrown it though.

My name is Michelle. I want one of those cute little siggies. I need to figure out how to do it. My computer illiteracy doesn't help much.. :rotfl: Awe, your son starting Kindergarten? That's so sweet. It's sad too, I know what you mean. With my oldest 2 I cried the first day I left them at kindergarten. I had to rush out of school with my son so noone would talk to me, I didn't want them to see my teary eyed. Wasn't long after that I decided to have another one. :goodvibes I was all done having babies till I got lonely. I had to fix that situation so I wouldn't do it again. Otherwise I'd probably be 50 and still having babies every 6 years. I have another year with my 4 year old, and my school to keep me busy when she starts. It's easier too when they like it and want to go that first year. Let me know how it goes with your son. I hope he loves it, maybe that will make it a little better for you. :grouphug:

Hi Michelle!
About the siggie, PM Dustysky. She has been so super generous with making our lovely siggies. She is so talented. I need to take a class to learn how to do that!

Sorry to hear your DS is feeling ill. I used to do the sick thing for school too. Middle school (particularly 7th grade) was really tough on me, so I would play that card as much as possible. I'm sure your kids will get through it just fine though. One more year to hang on to your little one though!

Wow Denise that is quite an age gap with your kids! Me and my brother are 9 years apart too. Do they get along ok? Me and my brother didn't really. His idea of playing with me involved throwing me on the couch in various ways. Weird enough though I loved it because it was attention!

Hi girls! I'm back from the library and McDonald's. How's everybody doing?

MagicMirror (Michelle), it's great to see you! You need to pop in more often!

So what are you up to today? I'm sitting here at work after a brief pick up in business. Glad thats over with. But this afternoon will be busy so I won't be on much :(

You may still be on here this afternoon trying to post, being that the dang boards are sloooow! :rotfl:

We didn't hear from Paige yesterday, so I'm not sure how she's doing. Maybe she'll check in today.

Did you girls already eat lunch? I had a McDonald's happy meal. :)

Hey everyone! Just made quesadillas for lunch. They were so GROSS! :crazy2: Face it, I'm a horrible cook. . .

Hi Kelly! :wave2:

Michelle- Thanks for the hugs! I'll need 'em! :)

Bonnie- How'd the library go? Did you and the girls have fun?

Mindy- How was your lunch?

Everyone- We need to PM dustysky and ask her to make us a small, not-a lot-of-KB's sparkly siggy for everyone! It needs to have something to do with us Mad Chatters. Throw some ideas out there.

Great idea, Denise! I'm gonna get some food, I think better on a full stomach!

Bonnie ~ Mickey D's sounds good! I might hit that today! I'll catch up with you guys after lunch! Plus, I'm gonna check my DSL to see why everything is slow on my end today! I'm getting frustrated :furious:

Have a great lunch! :sunny:

Hi Bonnie!

Kelly I agree the boards have been painfully slow the last couple days.

Denise I haven't eaten lunch yet. Its still only 11:30. But I will soon I imagine
I totally agree about the group siggy! Hey maybe we can make the icon a link (Cassi-some help?) and people can click on it to get here!

Library went great, Denise! My kids love to go and today was story hour. We invited Jake and Joey from across the street and their mom decided to join us. The kids got a lot of books and a couple DVDs.

McDonald's is my least favorite of all the fast food places, that's why I only get a Happy Meal when I go. At least I can get a cool toy out of it! Plus I've always kept my toys to put in my classroom treasure box! Today it was Polly Pockets, but the older girls wanted the boy toys which were little toy Hummers.

Mindy- That's a great idea to make it a link. I'd be happy with anything, though.

Does anyone know where Cassi has been lately? I've seen her around to game boards. :confused3

Bonnie-It's a great idea to put little McDonalds toys in your classroom treasure box. I remember DD's kindergarten teacher did this, too. My sister is a preschool teacher and does this, also. Little toy hummers- too cool! :woohoo:
