I'm only on for a couple minutes cause we're going to the library for story hour and to get new books. We invited some friends to join us.

This morning I went to Food Lion for groceries and then made chocolate chip muffins. After the library, the girls are gonna help me make a huge salad which will be taken to the homeless shelter for tonight's dinner.

What's up with you girls?

We need to go to the library, too! We'll do that this weekend, sometime. Making food for the homeless sounds wonderful! That is great that you girls do that. At our church, every so often some people visit the homeless shelter, but we've never gone. How often do you guys prepare meals for them?

ROFL! I guess I'll admit it. I very rarely make beds. I don't enforce the rule for my kids, either. Today, I'm just trying to clean the house, so I made them today.

This is our first time! I guess every so often our ward at church offers to make dinner for the shelter and they had sign ups if you wanted to help. All the slots for actually going there and serving were filled, but hopefully we can do that next time. So this time it's just making the salad. You're right, it's a good experience for the girls.

I'm still wiping the stardust from my eyes. Didn't want to wake up and drag myself in to work today. But I'm here nevertheless.


I promise this is the last time I'll talk about it, because I know I've been complaining a lot and nobody likes a complainer! I talked to DBF last night about talking to his bro about leaving. I explained to him that we had plans to do things this summer that didn't include being a babysitter for his brother. I think I was able to hit home, because he is going to talk to his bro today! Maybe by this weekend I'll actually have a place that is guest free!

I'm back! Sorry my boss called and we chatted for a bit but I'm back now!

DBF isn't babysitting his bro's kids, hes babysitting his brother. I personally think the guy is old enough to be doing things on his own. Hes probably a little freaked out though because this will be his first time ever not living with family, and it will be 2 hours away from us, and several countries away from his parents. But still hes been with us long enough. We need to get back to our own regularly scheduled lives now!
