Sounds like a nice peaceful day! We started in church but ended up running like headless chickens afterwards. At least I have a little bit of time to DIS right now

Tonight will be busy as well. I have that meeting and then afterwards I need to get some cleaning done. It's a real bummer to come home from a Disney trip to a dirty house. We did that last time, I just ran out of time. After that, I promised myself, NEVER again. So all of our laundry will be done, all of our stuff put away....when I walk in it won't be adding tons of luggage, new Disney stuff and everything else we haul back and forth to an already messed up house!

Amen, sistah! I know what you mean. Before any vacation, we clean the house. Like you, we've learned that the hard way. I guess I didn't realize that you went to Disney in only 6 DAYS! Lucky, you! Seems like all of the Mad Chatters are going / have gone to Disney in the last month! LOL

We went to Cabela's.........dh wanted to buy some Crocs, but wanted blue ones and couldn't find them in his size.......had fudge samples, looked at the animals, little Lucas took a pop gun and went "hunting" in the deer room, then we toured a log cabin, which is really a cabinish looking mobile home ..............when we got home the lobster bisque dh left in the crockpot was done, but I needed a nap, so I'm having it now.

That sounds like fun. Our boys Godmother used to work at Cabela's and she took them into work one day when she was off and not only did they get to all of the neato stuff the public gets to do...they got to do a bunch of fun extra stuff too! I wish we had a Cabela's around where we live now.

What kind of fudge? **WHERE is the best fudge at WDW? Does anybody happen to know?** YUM, lobster anything!

Do you really call this napping?

Paige - Take it easy, rest, and take a dose of the DIS.( ) The weeds in the flower garden can wait!

She is OH SO RIGHT! Umm...maybe I believe in that train of thought a little bit too much. Our sweet little family stepping stone flower bed was overrun with weeds earlier this summer...we have since reclaimed it...but the weeds still did win one battle of that war!

No, I waited to EAT until AFTER I napped..................that sentence didn't look right the moment I posted it.

It was peanut butter and chocolate fudge.............that's what they called it.

The kids had crackers with jalapeno apple jelly, honey/strawberry spread and honey/lemon spread..........didn't look that great to me so I didn't try it.

They have a shooting gallery there, too, but usually we only let the kids do that when they give the tokens free (there's a real rifle range upstairs, but we've never done that).

Usually we buy kettle corn there, but today they had roasted chestnuts instead.

Our flower bed is pitiful. We didn't plant any new plants/flowers this summer. Oh, well! LOL

I'm just trying to keep my baby trees alive and my bushes. The flowers couldn't take the heat, literally, and all died. BUT, we got several days of rain last week, and one petunia, one marigold and several of my little purple ones that I can't remember what they're called came back and BLOOMED again!

Looks kind of funny, with just two big ones and the small ones, all different colors, but nobody else has ANY right now on our block.

My personal feeling is the less you plant the less work...so plant very sparingly.

Jay, will you school at WDW? I mean, besides Epcot and Animal Kingdom attractions and the cultural/science opportunities on the cruise that will be very educational without you having to add to or follow up on, are you planning any projects/lessons/add tos/follow up ons while there?

It was that same night..........started off with just the "cool clique" part and then TF tweaked it with the rest. It came from this thread when Bonnie said now you and I were part of the cool clique.........so Bonnie has a tag from something I said, and I have one from something she said..........isn't that too cool? I think you had already gone to bed.................

I am in a swirl of emotions about Jay's trip...........I am sooo excited for her , so sad for me , and so jealous too!!!!!!! But did I mention excited and happy for her?
