Yes, Paramount King's Dominion is a theme park. There is another one in Cincinatti, OH called King's Island.

Well you ARE special!! I know, I just noticed it like 4 posts before hand. Too bad we're the only two here to celebrate!

That one I've heard of. Been to Kings Island quite a few times. It wasn't always Paramount, though. Kings Island opens the park during Winter for special festivals-does Dominion do that too? Although I'll admit it was cooler way back when I was a kid. They had smurfs on stage and all kinds of other stuff. I went back last year for the Winter thing and it was kinda lame :sad2:

I went to King's Island as a teenager. I went to visit/meet my pen pal in Indiana and we went to K.I. one day. I had fun.

We though King's Dominion was kinda lame. Did NOT have very good theming, that's for sure. There were some neat things, but it does not even compare to any of the Disney resorts. Plus, having to go in the summer SUCKS. Wish those places were open year round. I don't go to WDW in the summer due to crowds and heat, so I would rather do ALL amusement parks when they are less crowded and less hot. Oh well, it was an experience.

Cedar Point, the one up in Northern Ohio, has longer openings I think. They have a special Halloween program and such. But being that it is an island right on the lake, they couldn't be open forever too. Not a theme park, mostly just roller coasters though. I like it better than Kings Island becuase they aren't trying to muddle things with a half-baked theme job. They just focus on rides, and it works for them

I totally hear you about summer and parks. It is the most unreasonable time of year to be out in the sun all day!

I got a brochure sent to me once, from Cedar Point. That place looks AWESOME!! Maybe someday. . .

I just sent you a message in a bottle. Check your email.

Maybe it takes a long time? :confused3

Have you been to the website? www.oceangram.com

It's fun! When I just receive random messages, they are kinda lame. When I've sent out random messages, I always try to talk about the DIS.

I think you need to verify the message before it will send. Go back to your email and click the link from OCeangram. Cool site though!

So it will just send to someone completely randomly if you don't put a target on? Neato!

Hmmm, I don't know what I'm doing. I just saw the site today!

So what are you and DBF doing today? Hanging around in your brother-free home?

I don't think we'll do all that much. Maybe do some light shopping somewhere or something. But mainly just relax. How about you? Any big plans? Or just recuperation?

BTW check YOUR email :)
