Darn Bonnie - I missed you on MSN. I bought some t-shirts, but that is it. I want to get a new sweatshirt while I'm down there. Please tell me that you are going to have bottoms to go with your shirts...although Disney doesn't have stringent dress code, they do ask that you are at least dressed while in the parks!

Hey, lady! You know you were ignoring me on purpose. :sad1: I am with you, I am gonna get a hoodie sweatshirt while I am down there. I have a buttload of T-shirts this time and Trisha just called and me she picked up the other two that I wanted for me! :dance3: Ok, I will purchase no more tops! Only bottoms!

I would start packing those T-shirts, but my brother has not brought back my suitcase yet. He borrowed it for San Diego. I could also start packing my tiara and boa. DAMMIT!

Wonderful idea Muffy! I love watching a good smack down! I'll bring the carrot sticks & diet dip!
Smackdown didn't go too well...
Apparently since my last name is at the end of the Alphabet they won't look at any of my records until 2nd week of Feb. since that is how their schedule works. Excuse me...I'm not a happy camper at the moment.

This beverage looks suspiciously like the Captain's Mai Tai which can be found at many bars in the world. It is one of my beverages of choice given that - #1 it has a foo-foo umbrella and #2 contains a HEALTHY amount of the ole Captain!

Happy Monday Chatters - I have recovered from the weekend and am back to work. I just keep telling myself - 2 more weeks, 2 more weeks.
It could have been. Who knows now...I had a lot to drink over those 10 days....all of them I can't recall. Then again I'm the one that got drunk at V&A.

I know! 2 more weeks. This time then I'll be leaving work to come home and finish any last minute packing & going to bed (the airport shuttle is picking us up at 4am on Tuesday)

As long as the shirts are long enough it can be a 'shirtdress'...they can't say anything or at least thats what I saw in June.

Are you in stealth mode? Well I have unpacked the brand spankin new Disney luggage and have my new shirts and my tiara packed. I have 1 pair of jeans packed and 1 pair of capris. Otherwise I plan on wearing shorts. I don't care how white these legs are. I am all for the shorts and sweatshirt kind of look!

Ok Melissa - let's not start giving Bonnie reasons to go around in the parks without pants on - ok! 2 weeks from now I will be at Universal hurling after riding a big roller coaster. Do they serve alcoholic beverages at Universal? I may need one to get on that dualing dragons thing!:scared1:

In Universal there is alcohol at every turn!
You will have no trouble finding some liquid courage.

Thanks Melissa. That is the only one I think I may need the liquid courage for. Or is it? You seem to know Universal - give me the low-down. I love TOT and RnR - just Dueling Dragons looks scary. Oh wait - I just saw the Hulk ride.

I haven't been in a couple years (May 2006 was the last time) but I used to have annual passes since IoA opened until I graduated High School so I used to go a lot.

Dueling Dragons is definately more intense than the Hulk, but honestly, if you can handle RnRc you will be handle those fine. Just avoid the front row seats (which shouldn't be hard as they have separate lines for them)

Avoid the stupid Unicorn Coaster. It will make your chest hurt despite wearing a Sports Bra. I learned this at 15 when I was half the size up there as I am now.

Jurassic Park is a good ride.
Dr. Doom is just like ToT but outdoors with different theming.
Spiderman is awesome!
I like Cat in the Hat. Its cute and kinda like Pooh.

The Maya Cafe is wonderful! I loved every meal I've had there.

I can't say anything about the alcoholic beverages as the last time I went I was 19 & didn't get to have any then.

Thanks for the advice. Now on Tuesday we are going to do Universal Studios. What are the dos and don'ts for that one my personal Universal guru? :worship:

Ok - I realize that I can be completely moronic and childish, maybe sometimes I get a bug up my butt. Let's say it's Bonnie's flea. However, sometimes you just have to have fun with the DIS and why can't people just have fun back?

There is a thread entitled - "Cat Owners: Do you bathe your cat?" on the CB. Yep, I believe that those of you who know me know exactly what I posted. "No I don't because I hate getting all that fur on my tongue and the hair balls are murder". Ok - hello I was kidding. Seriously, I was in a mood and it made me laugh. I got nothing. Nothing - not even a courtesy guffaw. Geez - isn't anyone fun on the DIS anymore?

Most of the restuarants there suck :p

I would do MIB & The Mummy first as they often get crowded. Although, a new ride just opened (or Earthquake was re-done more so) so that might be smart to start with)

Twister is cute. Avoid the front row as you will get soaked there.

I love the Animal Planet Show!

T-2 is good.

Shrek 4-D is a nice story between Shrek 1 & 2
Jimmy Nuetron's Blaster is ok. I miss the old Hanna Babara one.

Fear Factor is ok. Don't be a contestant though.

I adore ET.

Nope. People don't know how to have fun. People are too serious & can't take jokes.

Although the stupids seem to out in strong force which is making my snarky side show.

Oh yes - I have been trying to channel my inner snark and just run away right now. There are so many threads to be snarky on. Whenever I feel snarky I just go to another board and read over there for a while. Someone over there usually has posted what I want to say anyway!

Hey Haggets!!!

Two more weeks until you invade the world!! How exciting. I hope the weather stays just like it is for you. We are having the most perfect weather right now, after a couple of chilly days!

Squid, I didn't realize you were going to Universal also. I love it there! It's really my favorite place, but don't tell anyone esle. I love the resorts, Portofino is my favorite!

So, what else is new? I haven't read back. Now that I work online a lot, I don't see it as enjoyment any more :( Maybe once I finish up all these classes that will change back.

But, but, but I am NOT on your online work sites! So you have to come here to get your necessary dosing of Rob.

Look Squiddy! I'm back to 3,000 posts again. Let's try to keep it that way this time. :sad2:

Hey Cheryl! I've missed you. Are you going to be able to come up and meet us for a few days? Rob is going to be hiding under the bed hoping for a chance to see you.

Rob, unfortunately this post totally offended me, not once, but twice. I have been forced to report you to the moderators and ask that every single thread you post on be deleted so that you are back to ground zero. You know we are not allowed over 3,000 posts! Some people never learn!

Actually, Rob is going to be sleeping (not hiding!) under the bed hoping that one of the hags drinks enough to make him "a better offer".

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: (on your second comment Squiddy)

Actually, I don't think I have ever been at 4,000 (I think I was close when I got knocked back down to 1,200 or so) so we'll see if we can make it there.

I was actually within 2 posts of 5,000 with the last incident and it knocked me clear down to 750. I was in danger of losing my DIS veteran status! :rotfl: Then there were people like LBelle who went from 14,000 to around 5,000.

Can you believe that was almost a year ago that we lost that dearly departed thread? April, 2007 <insert the sound of Taps playing here>

Where's the link? In the spirit of friendship, I will go there and guffaw heartily so that everyone knows that at least ONE person finds you amusing! :rotfl:

Hi Melissa! Hi Rob! Hi Cheryl! :wave2:
