howdy, friends! It's been a loooong day. We went to the SS office where I did NOT get a SS card. Then we had an Atkins friendly lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. Then we went to the mall and I bought 4 Disney T-shirts at the Disney store to wear to the meet! I am SET, man! Except for capris. We then went to the movies and saw P.S. I Love You, which was really good. We both liked it a lot.

Then we came home and Ainslee has a fever and a tummy ache. Poor little thing. She had locked herself in the bathroom and wouldn't let her sisters in to see her. I unlocked the door and went in and she was just laying on the floor crying. She was really hot. So I got her some cold water and tucked her into Mommy's bed and put on Lion King for her. Now she is sleeping again. The older girls said she went right to sleep when she got home from school and slept for like 3 hours. DH and I just got home at like 6:45 and they said she had only been awake for a few minutes.

So what's the rumpus? How are you freaks?

Thanks for the visual Bon! But I wouldn't get too dolled up for the S.S. Office! The guys in line might think you're the bean for their burrito!

But I am the dork with bangs, and those bangs shrivel up when wet, and I look like a DAMN FOOL! *Sniff* I think Squid just wanted to make me look bad.

I made it home safe and sound, Squidward. No SS card though.

They don't deport the type of alien that Bonnie is, Squiddy -- just the illegal immigrant aliens. Bonnie is probably still safe.

And yes, I used the handy dandy tracking # to determine that our beautiful shoes were in Roanoke VA & scheduled for delivery tomorrow! Wearing mine on Saturday!!! (and NOT to do a public # 2! ) I, for one, have an iron constitution. Nothing blows through me!

That is too funny. Then again, I work with all men & boy do I know about those types of stories. (The ladies room lets you hear all of the men's room bodily functions)

I'm good. I'm glad to be home & am getting ready for bed soon. Still getting used to the 'adult' schedule of 5am wake ups. I need to learn about early bed times...At least this weekend I get to finish up wedding stuff & finish packing all but pants.

Just doing a night time drive by. I am sitting here listening to the tinkle of ice hitting the window, so it seems we're getting snow tonight. You know how this southern chick digs snow. Pray for me cause you know how evil snow is - its wet and cold and slick and ick and scares the bejesus outa me when I have to drive on it. And my rear wheel drive SUV. Yet another brilliant decision on my part.

Bon, still no travel papers? Ok, get a big box and lots of water and granola bars. Fed Ex yourself. That's my advice. I'm sure you can count on the other hags to accept shipment, right? And sorry about Ains!! I hope it's just a 24 thing and she's right as rain in no time.

Any Jay news? I notice all you lovely HAGS got right on giving me her number. Sheesh, you act like I'm a stranger around these parts or something.

Wow Hi Stepher!! Nice to see you chickie! We have snow in KC today too!! Almost 2 inches, so of course there's no school. Midwesterners are snow wimps. But the roads are looking a bit nasty, so I'll be leaving early to slip and slide to work. So my co-worker and I can sit and read all day. No one buys glasses when the weather is bad. Oh well.

That snow stuff sucks. It is evil & makes people fall on their butts a lot. (I'm originally from Jacksonville, FL and moved to Worcester, MA for college & it looks like I'm sticking here thanks to jobs)
Be safe! Rear wheel drives on snow are no fun. Then again...I just bought a 2003 beetle convertible on Saturday for my new car. I don't have the best decision making abilities either.

Afternoon, Chatters!

We are getting real, actual SNOW! We have like 3 inches already. When I went to my car for my lunch break, it was covered with a thick blanket. So I got out my brush/scraper and fixed my car all up. Now when it is time to go home at 4:00, I will be rarin' to go, leaving the other teachers in the dust while they have to de-snowify their cars. In fact, I believe I will peel out and spray some extra snow onto their cars as I exit the parking lot!

Today is an easy day. We just slapped on a learning video for the kids. They hardly ever get to watch a movie (this is the second time this year...the first time was last Friday). So they were in hog heaven!

Ahhh... I knew I recognized that smell. Eau d'Rancid alcoholic liver. I think it's by Chanel.

No! My glasses were not done! They told me Sunday it would take 30 min. So I shopped around the mall and came back and they said that they had to special order my lenses from another store and that they would be ready on Wedesday. So Wednesday I called them in the morning and they said my lenses had to be picked up from another store and the lady who is supposed to go get them is off until Monday. I was like, "Can't someone else pick them up?" So she said she would check and call me back. I told her I would be out but gave her my cell number. She never called me back either at home or on my cell. So I will call there later when I get home and see what is up. I ain't too pleased. I don't wanna wait until Monday.

But when I get them I will post a pic!! That was you will recognize me at the airport!
