For some reason I thought the opening was tomorrow. Steph, I will open mine tomorrow. I pulled a muscle in my neck and can barely move right now. I'm going to take some of the good drugs I got today at the doctor's and go to bed.

And I'm the biggest dork EVER. After all my blustering around here lately, I completely and utterly FORGOT tonight. There was the usual drama around here - DD's best friend moving today, grinding up glass to put in MIL's food (kidding!), but apparently I cook too much chicken. So henceforth I guess I should be known as Marie friggin Callendar! Wench. And have I said that I have done zero shopping? Well, I dashed one kid off to a Christmas party, slapped a plate of chicken in front of MIL and zipped off to Best Buy. The next time the party crossed my mind was 10:00 PM. I literally did a forehead slap.

Ok, I got a gingerbread tart and a sparkling cinnamon tart....love those! a squisy light up snowglobe Mickey ornament that lights up....too cute!! Crackers!!!!! Of a certain kind! Goldfish to be exact. Which made me laugh my **** off. A lovely Christmas dishtowel, 2 chocolate bars (which you know I'd fight a bear for) and the CUTEST little candy shotglasses. They are shotglasses made out of candy canes!! I'm taking those babies with me to Bama and using them to get snockered. Let's see....I also got a Holiday blend coffee which I will hoard until I am here sans MIL cause she chugs coffee like a Hummer chugs gasoline. A handy dandy pack of Christmas travel sized tissues, and last but not least, Black raspberry vanilla body spray and lotion from B&BW. Let me tell ya, you have a 6th sense lady! I just used up the last of my Cherry Blossom the other day, and this stuff smells divine!! Love it......you are the best. Sorry I deprived you of an in person thank you. I'll grovel the next time we chat.

Just for the record... that ain't no ordinary chocolate!
IT'S THE BEST CHOCOLATE IN THE WORLD!
We discovered it when we lived in Germany... of course now you can buy it at Target but it is so yummy melty. It's heaven! So enjoy!

The Black Rasberry Vanilla was a hit!
It's SOOOOOO hard to choose at B&BW! They all smell so good!
I bet I was in there nearly an hour until my sniffer went on strike.

And I'm very happy to know you'll make good use of those shot glasses!

I've been searching my totally disorganized "Christmas" house for my camera so I could post a picture and an appropriate thank you... but alass - it will have to wait until dh wakes up and tells me where he hid it!

In the meantime... I'll do my best to show you all what a lovely group of goodies Shannon sent my way!


The first thing I found was a cute card!

"Jingle Bells, shopping smells, parking is a pain.
Christmas carols from the mall are stuck inside my brain!
But I feel proud I braved the crowd, though it was very hard.
Cuz I made it to the Hallmark aisle, and picked you out this card!"


Then there was beautiful gold tissue paper!
Which I'm bringing to the meet for Bonnie, she wants to use it too.....

The next thing I found was Chocolate!!!!!
And not just any Chocolate, Lindt!!! A cute Santa and golden reindeer.




And they taste as good as they look... 2 of the 4 reindeer have already biten the dust... or I should say I've already bitten them!
Then I found a box! From Pier One!!!!!
Inside was....

A pickle ornament!!

I can't wait to hide it in the tree! Thanks Chickie!

AND

A beautiful red jeweled snowflake ornament!
This is not exactly it... but as close as I could get! It's actually much prettier!



THEN there was something very heavy! OH SO heavy!
And TA DA!

And OMG!!!!!!!!!! IT SMELLS SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!
I am still in heaven! Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!

And all these wonderful gifts came in a cute Christmas basket!
You'll just have to use your imagination... until I find my camera.

Well I finally got to open my box and received 12 inches of pure pleasure! That's right I received not one, but two full size Yankee Jar Candles in the lovely scents of Home Sweet Home and Mandarin Cranberry. Thanks so much Bon! You are a great friend. Thanks to you T for organizing this meet. It was a blast everyone. Lots of laughs and a great time!

Welcome, Squidward! You seemed to be hinting one day that you wanted a mandarin cranberry candle, so I decided to get you both scents!

STEPH!!! Thanks for the gifts! I love them
I got a tart warmer, a holiday one. Assorted Christmas tarts, a stocking filled with goodies and 4 gold ornaments for my living room tree!! I just love it all. I just lit the warmer and put the gingerbread one in.

Everyone's gifts sound wonderful!! I'll get a picture up soon.

The neck is still hurting, but at least I was able to sleep, thanks to the meds.
The muscle relaxer doesn't seem to be doing much, so I just added an Advil. Probably not supposed to do that, but I can't move and so much needs to be done around here.
On top of that, KJ has a fever Just great.

I went to throw out the packaging and gift bag, and realized I had missed something! It's yummy Twisted Peppermint lipgloss! YAY!!!! I love extra surprises, like when you put on a jacket you haven't worn in a while and find $$$ in the pockets. Plus, THIS extra surprise makes my lips shiny & minty & sex-ay!

Hey Bon-- I think I went into a food coma after I got home! I went to put Riley down for a nap... and three hours later, woke up myself! ACK! That never happens! But I had fun at lunch, and couldn't even tell you hadn't bathed in 3 weeks either. Must've been that polish bath you took earlier. Thanks for hanging out with me! And good luck with your Santa's loot dilemma.

Later peeps! Off to rent a movie. Guess I actually have to spend time with DH and his brother tonight. Bummer.

Howdy Chatters! Rain turning to sleet turning to snow here today. So, my three youngest sons and I headed out to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks". It's way down on the list of movies I want to see (heck, it may not even be on my list even though I do enjoy the Chipmunks "music") but it was entertaining and cute enough. The kids wanted to go see it and now I'm clear to see the movies I want to see this week.

Ok, I found the movie I was telling you about. It's not Scottish though, it's Irish. The Secret of Roan Inish - it's a folktale and a bit quirky, but I enjoyed it! Def. one to put on your Netflix list, but probably not one your DH would sit through. Well mine did, but he can be a bit girly sometimes.
