I'm home today but I'm working. Honest -- except for a quick DIS break.
So far we have not quite 1/2 an inch of ice... on everything! The trees are hanging down slightly but all the plants are laying flat on the ground. Unfortunately it's not over yet! We have 12 to 18 hours of storm to go. If it warms up above freezing enough to just rain we'll be fine but if it stays right at 29-32 where is has been we could get another inch. Last time my neighborhood was without power for a week... No power means no heat either.This happens about once every 5 years and they haven't been smart enough to bury all the power lines yet... so it could be bad.
Here's a few shots from my backyard here in KC. Fortunately, I'm out in the suburbs unlike poor Rella so our power lines are buried.

I hope it snows again soon though. I love me some snow days!
