The Mad Chatters thread Part 17

So far we have not quite 1/2 an inch of ice... on everything! The trees are hanging down slightly but all the plants are laying flat on the ground. Unfortunately it's not over yet! We have 12 to 18 hours of storm to go. If it warms up above freezing enough to just rain we'll be fine but if it stays right at 29-32 where is has been we could get another inch. Last time my neighborhood was without power for a week... No power means no heat either. This happens about once every 5 years and they haven't been smart enough to bury all the power lines yet... so it could be bad.

I'm home today but I'm working. Honest -- except for a quick DIS break.

Here's a few shots from my backyard here in KC. Fortunately, I'm out in the suburbs unlike poor Rella so our power lines are buried.

Wow....it looks COLD there! We had a small snowfall here in VA last week, but I missed it cause I was in 78 degree Orlando! I hope it snows again soon though. I love me some snow days!

Where is LBelle today? I am feeling very snarky and I need an evil playmate. I see threads like, "Tell me about Tucson" and I just want to say - it's in Arizona. Last year LBelle and I had a great day starting weird threads on a snarky day.

Lisa started the "I want to have a Disney funeral" thead. Which was a laugh and I started the "I hate Canadians thread" which some people didn't find funny at all.

Just more of a reason not to like you Shannon. You were born in Canada. This just proves my theory. Canadians look like Americans, they have the same sense of humor, they talk a lot like us and it is hard to tell us apart. I believe that Canadians are taking on American characteristics so that they can infilitrate and take over. Big Bad Canadians! I have pictures to prove how scary Canadians can be.

Canadian pigeons are well educated:

Canadians also participate in animal cruelty. Poor little beavers!

1. I am a KETCHUP girl. Maybe vinegar if I'm hard pressed. Can't, won't do the gravy thing, though my mom loves it!

2.I have never celebrated Canada Day, and definitely NOT by waxing any, umm, Beavers.

3. Maybe the cats in the trees can take out some of the pooping pigeons?

4.My grandfather was in the Canadian airforce! Which doesn't say much for them, since he was schizo, an alcoholic, and abandoned his family. (By the way, I get my personality from my dad's side of the family! )

Ok--- Just waiting for LBelle to catch up to this post! You better get a head start Squiddy, and RUN for it!

Howdy, Chatters! I'm home from work/grocery shopping. We needed food mucho baddo, so I'm glad i went. However, my tootsies did NOT appreciate the extra walking around, so now Heather has to help me by browning the ground beef. Muahhahahha. Taco Soup tonight, baby!
