Well POO!

Just found out we're not getting the tickets after all. Apparently WVU "recalled" the tickets from alumni, or gave them the option to pay more ('cause the OSU ones are going for $1200 versus the $750 that this guy paid for the WV tix.)

We couldn't pay the guy another $900, so no tickets for us!
*sigh*

I'm so disappointed for you Shannon! I almost jumped on the couch when I read you were going.... and now I'm just sad.

Maybe you could get a hotel room with a big screen and hold hands while you watch it! Anyway I hope they win for you!!!!

Awww... thanks Rella! Yes, we were SUPER excited, and then we were SUPER bummed! But things work out the way they work out, and it's probably better that we're not spending a couple thousand right after Christmas!! It definitely was NOT a trip worked into the budget-- woulda been "magic money" for sure!

We'll definitely do something here though-- either go down to D.C. where there's an "Ohio State" bar, or else have a party. Of course, you're all invited!!!!!

Hi Shannon: I can answer that question. I gave Bonnie the morning what in the H (heaven) are you doing today call. They are going to the MK all day (hate her!). She said that they rode Expedition Everest 6 times yesterday.

I don't know how she does it. I love EE, but I can only ride it twice before I start feeling nauseous. Going backwards really doesn't agree with me. However, going upside down to the tunes of Aerosmith appeal greatly!

Well, seeing as how it's that day that comes AFTER Monday, but BEFORE Wednesday, I think Squiddy is busy. Maybe waxing or shaving. Or hiding.

How was dinner? Anything exciting? I made meatballs & rice much to the dismay of my chicken-nugget addicted sons. They may very well turn into chicken nuggets one of these days!

Then I went to the belly dancing class again. Boy! If you ever want to remind yourself how utterly uncoordinated and unsexy you are, I suggest a belly dancing class! It's fun, but man do I ever suck!!!!

Guess what? I finished my Chatter shopping today, all wrapped and packaged!! I'm going to mail mine on Thursday or Friday.
Hope she likes it!

Still above ground! Hey chatters! Is everyone getting ready for Christmas? I thought I had my chatter gift all taken care of, and I was boxing it up and realized that I need to get 1 more thing. One of those things that I just should have bought at the time, but I thought, I can get this cheaper at Target. Well yeah, if I had a memory longer than an ant's butt, but since I don't I keep forgetting! I am making a list though, and I'm going today to get it finished up and hopefully in the mail tomorrow.

I hope everyone is keeping warm and avoiding flus and so forth. We have been lucky here so far - very mild weather and other than a stomach bug or 2, no serious illnesses.

Has everyone gotten their shopping done? I have done next to nothing. Other than the gifts that I didn't want DH to know I bought the girls. The ones I left in B'ham. I'd rather walk on my own lips than hide stuff from DH but he's a cheapskate!! It's all good though, he never knows so he's happy, my mom looks like she's giving the girls an avalanche of gifts so she's happy, and I'm happy that they get what I think they should have. So, he really should thank me for putting in the effort to pull the whole thing off so brilliantly if you think about it.

Oh I hope so!! That's so much fun!
Just how much snow do you have to have in WV to get a snow day?? Around here it's about 4 inches... although the first snow of the year usually shuts the schools down regardless.

When we lived in Dallas they'd shut down - not just the schools but the whole town - for a half an inch of snow!! Seemed nuts to a Montanan like me, but they really couldn't drive in it at all so it was NOT safe to be out. Back home in MT they don't close for snow. In my whole 13 years in school... well longer counting college they only closed the schools one day and that was because it was colder than 50* below zero!! Hummm... maybe 1/2 an inch makes more sense than that!! Well have fun and enjoy your day off!

We have about 4 inches on the ground right now. It started out as a 2 hour delay, but they cancelled a little later when the snow kept coming. We'd usually be in school with a 2 hour delay on a day like today, but the snow started about 5:00am, so they couldn't safely get the buses on the road.

Drew played in the backyard for about an hour and is now waiting for his Daddy to get home to take him sledding. Unless I'm on the ski slopes I don't like to be cold!!

Talked to Bonnie this morning--- she's on her way to Epcot, and the girls were a little jealous that they're missing a snow day here! (and we're jealous we're not going to Epcot!!!)

Sorry to have been absent guys, but I have been trying to recover from Tuesday night. Geez I was sleeping - how in the world did I make eye contact???

For those of you who didn't know this, apparently my snoring is arousing for some people. I feel sorry for the person who rooms with me in February. Oh yeah, that will be Bonnie!

Just talked to the Bon monster and they just rode Soarin! Hate her again. Weather is supposed to be in the mid to high 70's and they had a good lunch at Coral Reef.

Oh and here's a surprise - I bought more DVC points today. Sorry kids - no Christmas for you cuz mama's gotta have her DVC fix! I swear it is more addicting than heroin.

Howdy!!! I know some of you remember me...I remember some of you.
Rella hunted me down, beat me up a little, and then invited me here to the "Offender's Reunion In Disguise" party...OK, fine...she didn't beat me up. I came willingly.

I've been so busy at work lately. We moved to a new building, and I got my own office! No more cubicle and no more sharing an office!!!
Only thing is, they expect me to do more work!! HMPH!!! No fair!!! How am I supposed to REALLY enjoy my new office if all I'm doing is working all the time??!?!?!
