Two more days of work this week, not too shabby! And I know tomorrow I won't have many kids, so it will be a pretty easy day! Woo hooo!

My alarm has been beeping for the past 20 minutes, but DH is in the shower and I'm up in the loft, so it's gonna have to continue beeping till DH leaves the bathroom and hears it! Man, I'm pretty lazy, aren't I?

Two more days of work this week, not too shabby! And I know tomorrow I won't have many kids, so it will be a pretty easy day! Woo hooo!

Pitiful! I know I would be skipping right downstairs to shut it off! But that's just me, Mrs. Ball of Energy. (Ok, truthfully, if I'm in the next room and ours goes off, I yell to DH to get it. And that's like 10 steps.)

This is my last workday for the week! And I'm debating on whether to blow it off or not. I surely have a lot of crap to get done today. I think I have compromised with myself, and I'm going to work half a day ish. Probably more on the 2 or 3 hour side.

Not that I ever chat that much anyway these days, but I am off to B'ham, so chances of chatting are slim. I leave in the morning and return Sunday. I hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving. Eat too much, drink too much, shop too much, and don't kill your family! That's my plan anyway. Be safe everyone!

Hey lady Chatters-- question for ya.

Have any of you ever had a friend of DH's that made you "uncomfortable" but not in a way so overt that you feel you can say anything to DH?

Well, DH has one of those friends (we'll call him V), and DH just called to say "V said he is stopping by the house on his lunch hour to drop off the stuff I ordered. Isn't that nice of him? I told him you would be there so he wouldn't have to leave it on the porch."

Ummm... ok. I know it is probably a TOTAL figment of my imagination, but something about V gives me the creeps. I'm hoping he doesn't have time to chit chat & just drops off the crap & goes. I am NOT letting him in my house!!! No way Jose. Anyway, just wanted to vent 'cause I have the heebie jeebies right now.

Hope you're all having a fantastical day! Can't wait to chow down on turkey, and more importantly, all the pie!!!! I luv pie.....

Thanks Bon! You're the best! I like the name Skeevy V! (Who hasn't shown up yet-- let's hope he doesn't come until Ryan is here!!!) I already changed into the baggiest sweatpants I could find, took OFF my makeup, and put my hair in a bun. Maybe if I look like "Haus-Frau Shan" he'll be too skeered to give me his usual eyeballing and shoulder touching!

Gotta go finish the laundry so I can pack for tomorrow. We leave for Ohio tomorrow briiiight and early. I'll check in tonight though.

Hey- Sexy IS my middle name ya know. (Which makes my initials SSS). Seriously though, I am NOT flattering myself in thinking Skeevy V may have a thing from me.

For one thing, he is like 5 foot 2 WITH shoes on. 2nd, he's hairy. And 3rd, he's got a full-on beard. He's like a hairy, horny leprechaun. (Only he's Italian). Am I paintin' a pretty picture here for ya? (where's the hurling smiley when you need it???)

Needless to say, if I WASN'T married, and the fate of the world depended on my hooking up with Skeevy V, well... Nice knowing ya Earth!

So yeah, Skeevy V is desperate enough to think I'm hot, even looking like I spent the afternoon scrubbing toilets.

We leave tomorrow a.m. and come back Saturday some time. Apparently Ryan's brother is coming back with us for a few days, which will be nice. I haven't seen him since he left for Iraq October of '06. He's gonna flip when he sees how much the boys have grown!
