I'm hoping to visit the arena tomorrow during the open house. I think my first concert will be Billy Joel sometime in early December I think (still debating who to take with me if you want to toss your hat in the ring). You have to give kudos to Garth Brooks for adding EIGHT concerts on to his stay here and for selling all of his tickets (even the floor seats) for around $30. At least you had a two-hour window to try to get tickets before all nine shows sold out. I assume you do know there are some events (about 75% of them) currently on sale that still have tickets available for them.

I'm not much of a big concert goer... but I've actually been tempted by Billy Joel. I love the music -- I just don't enjoy the crowd of 7,999 friends who'd be joining me. Now at the music hall... definitely!

I suppose I should give the beautiful new venue a chance...
if I could just be sure the people in front of me wouldn't stand up through the whole concert, get drunk, smoke anything (or reek of it), wear too much perfume or scream in my ear I'd be there in a minute.
(Oh wait - that's a Chief's game, isn't it.)

I'd say I think I'm getting old but ya know I stopped going to large concerts when I was about 25 because I hated all that... so age don't matter.
Guess I was born a fuddy duddy...

Besides no one would like it if I sang along and that's what good music is for!!!

Did we run off Heather? Heather I'm sorry I ran away the other day. I am at work during the day so when my boss comes over, I am usually off the DIS and onto projects for a while. Don't take it personally! I had to tell Bonnie to shut it on MSN the other day (she still isn't speaking to me).

Rob is saying that he gets harrassed by some of the hags on this thread. Really? Who could he be talking about?

I have been very grumpy for the past few days.....I messed up my medication and had to wait for the doctor to call in a refill. I need to stop doing that.

I'm still talking to you, but I ain't been DISing at lunch the past couple days because my knee is all gimped up and I spend my lunch hour with it propped up on a couple pillows. It is so swollen and it hurts like the dickens. I keep showing it to all my coworkers! I show them both knees so they can see the difference. I think maybe I should shave my legs in order to make it a more pleasant experience for my coworkers, dontcha think? Yes, it has gotten bad enough that I will be seeing the doctor. I have a call into them now, but they have not returned my call as of yet. Perhaps I'll have to call them again when I get off work. OH, and congrats on the single digit dance. That's awesome, lady!

Hellllllllllllllllllooooo chatters!! How is your Wednesday treatin' ya? My house smells DELIGHTFUL! I got a pumpkin scented oil from Bath and Body works and a ceramic pumpkin oil warmer from a friend who dropped by to visit today. She ordered it for herself and she didn't like it. She said she thought of me right away cause I like "smelly stuff". OKAY...I will take your cast offs with a smile!! AND my house now smells divine.

So, either she has a bad sense of smell (cause this smells SO good I cannot imagine anyone not liking it) OR I live in such a stinky pit that my friends feel the need to try and cover the reek for me!
