Happy Birthday Steph. Mine was Friday. Since I haven't been around much I'm wondering if ya'll still want me to go in Feb as I don't feel the comradie as much as I used to. Anyway let me know what ya'll think and I will talk to ya'll later.

Awww Kim - sorry you feel that way. I think everyone is so busy with summer and the Harry Potter book and changing schedules that the thread has been really dead lately. I am hoping it gets back on track again when school starts. Happy belated birthday to you too - sorry I didn't know when your birthday was.

So...all you freaky chicks finally done reading that silly book or what??????? hee hee!! Just yanking your chains!!! My son has had his nose stuck in it all weekend too.....the 19 year old!!! Oh well....I'm obviously missing something, right? YEP......MY BUDDIES!!!!! GET BACK HERE.......NOW!!!!!!! Actually, I'm crazy busy at work...AGAIN..for the next few days so I'll try to stop in tonight on MSN and see if anybody remembers me!

She mentioned it one night on MSN. I haven't been on MSN in the evenings lately though. It is sad that we aren't chatting on the thread nor on MSN, but I do think that is because everyone is so busy.

Jay is on partial bedrest. She was hoping to go to the Harry Potter party last Friday night, but I didn't hear if she actually got to go or not.

Well I'm only about on Ch. 9 in the book. I had to wait for dh to bring it to me, he went to OK with the kids and I was stuck in the house. He takes it in the evenings, I take it late nights. Mostly I'm on here and doing house/kid stuff in the day, so I only get a chapter or two at a time.

Squidlet's birthday sounds great! For Ainslee's, I have made no preparations, other than order her cake from the bakery. We plan to go to splashdown waterpark. She wants a game for her Nintendo DS, some Bratz dolls, Littlest Pet shop guys and V-smile games.

I'm waiting for the pizza to arrive and then I have a couple ladies from Church stopping by for a while.

Yes...we are having a baby. The baby is due at the end of January. We were keeping it "quiet" because I have had health problems in the past and we have lost babies before. I didn't want to make a big production out of something that might just end up "not so well". And emotionally it would be hard to answer questions over and over again if something happens.

I am not/was not hiding it from anyone. We were just waiting until things seemed more settled before making any sort of public "announcement".

SQUID-you know you miss me!! ha ha ha BUT I have been here. I am here constantly and nobody IMs me. Except for RELLA who gets the gold star of the week! Did you know your future son-in-law has a birthday tomorrow? WOO HOO. It was destined to be!

STEPH-you Harry Potter lover you! Have you started to reread the book again? This time I am reading it at a much slower pace. I am tempted to stop reading it though and start over again at book 1 and read them all through in order (yes, I know I just did that a few months/weeks ago...HA HA HA). PS Get your nap schedule figured out so you are back to chattin'!

TRISHA-what, you jealous of Harry or sumpin'? YOU need to read these books!! How is your day going? HAVE YOU HUGGED YOUR MONKEY TODAY?!

BON BON SCHNITZEL-"Aladdin's" 11th birthday is tomorrow! He is getting too much. I am a sucker for spoiling them. Lucky for them...I couldn't help it. He is having some friends over after baseball tonight to spend the night. Tell Miss Ainslee happy birthday!

RELLA-You did see I gave you a gold star, right? Rrrrrells Bbbbells knows how to chatter it up!!

PAIGE-You know I will not take care of myself...but for the baby...a compromise has been reached.

KIM-We no longer have a "birthday gram" sent out on birthdays (does anyone want to do that?)...so if you are not around talking and happen to mention it is your birthday, then, I have no idea it's your birthday. KWIM? It's a personal choice on how much time each of us invests in online friendships. Most of the time, what you put into a situation is what you get out of it. For me, it's hard to keep up a connection if I am not chatting on MSN and posting on the boards. Maybe that is what you are feeling. I know you are part of the plans for the Feb. meet however, I think it's up to you whether or not you would like to come. I feel that it is truly, the more the merrier and hope to see everyone there. Oh and happy belated birthday.

Hello Chatter!!!

It has been a long time and I sure miss chatting with you!

Just to update ya - things aren't going the best work wise. The job I have isn't panning out like they said it would, so I am look for other places to work. I do have a few interviews scheduled - so please keep your fingers crossed for me. (I do have one tomorrow and one on Monday).

My youngest DS is at Boy Scout Summer Camp this week. I kinda of (just a little ) miss him. My oldest is still involved with this GF and working at the pool. DD (who it 14) is working at the retirement home in town (she was awarded a grant for a 180 hours) and she is planning how she is going to spend the monie she earns.

I have been very luck friend wise this summer - 2 good friends from Michigan came out to Oregon and got to see them! It was great to see old friends!

I hope all is well with everyone and I hope to catch up with ya soon!!!
