Hi chatters! I'm home this morning because DD hurled at school! Poor thing, on her way to her first class this morning......bleh.....right in the hall. So she's more embarassed than ill I think. Actually, I think she feels a lot better now that she's been sick. But I'm babying her this morning. I have to work this afternoon, so she'll be here solo, but somehow, I think she'll survive.

I'm gonna try to get my work stuff done before this evening, cause I can't DIS or MSN while I have my work screen up.

So, I tell you this long story -with TMI I'm sure- to say that I will try to chat tonight. No school = no dance practice, and MIL is with SIL this evening. MIL will be here tomorrow night, and DD will have dance again on Thurs, so yeah, this is it for me this week most likely unless you guys become night owls. If we could only talk your jobs into going with Central time instead of Eastern. The family has been wanting to watch movies together on Fri. nights, well, my kids and DH anyway, and Saturdays and Sundays I have MIL both days. Hopefully I'll catch some of you tonight!

This morning I was getting ready for work and brushed my hair down in front of my face so that I could get the underneath. I looked like Cousin It. Do you know anyone who wants to brush it for me? It is long and straight and looks like the 70's Ok kidding - it isn't that straight.

Have you guys read the thread about being dumped by a friend? I think that is me. I was posting on the nuts recently and noticed that a person I used to call friend (a Canadian) has removed her Hag Ticker from her siggy. I just knew she wasn't going to meet up with me! Instead she is sticking to her own kind and meeting up with another Canadian instead. I knew better than to get involved with a Canadian - URGH!

Howdy, Chatters! I'm off today, but I still had to get up at buttcrack and take DH to the commuter lot so I could keep the car. (Mine is in the shop). I also took this opportunity to go to the grocery store, which I really hate. But hey, it's over and now my slaves are putting the groceries away. They are thrilled to have food in the house again!

What's everyone doing today? I have to take DD13 to get her hair done (cut, weave). So I'll be spending 2 1/2 hours waiting for her. At least I'll get some reading time in! I've been working on a Danielle Steele for weeks now, and just can't seem to get very far into it. It's been more of a bathroom novel. But today's the day!! Then later, the girls have friends coming over.

I just returned home from getting Heather's hair done. I spent over an hour at CVS killing time.

Steph, I purchased some Secret Clinical Strength! I'm hoping to spare Squid and T my pungent aroma when we are all hot and sweaty at the World. Also, Steph, I found me one of those callous razors! Woo hoo! I was thrilled to find it. Even though I just had a pedi on Sat, I'm already getting callous heels. Maybe because I wear flip flops every day! Also, did you see that they have made the Nanny Diaries into a movie?
