I'm not sure about dinner. I am craving enchiladas for some odd reason but in order to make them I have to visit the grocery store....with the kids....dum dum duuuummmmmm

I think I'm going to throw some ham steaks on the grill and serve them with some broccoli and Lipton noodle crap from a bag!

I wonder why you are craving enchis. Go for it! Take the crew to the grocery store. Live a little! At least you'll have a yummy meal!

Mmmmm, that sounds really good, hag! I have never grilled ham steaks. We never think about having ham, save it be on a sammich. And Lipton noodle crap from a bag, it sounds divine!

I measured my children today.
Kate is 4'6.5"
Joey is 37.5 inches...barefoot. Hopefully he will grow 2 more inches by December so we can all ride Splash Mountain

Ok....I have officially declared today a fend-for-yourself-for-dinner day. There is no way I am taking Sir Cranky Britches (Kate can come with me if she wants but Joey is definitely staying home)to the grocery store with me!! I will go to the store when dh gets home and have enchiladas tomorrow. Whew....I'm glad that is decided....I feel much better now

Yeah, I hear ya. 3yo are not pleasant for that length of time at the store. You are wise not to put yourself in that position!

It does feel nice to get your plans decided. Up in the air is not enjoyable!

Do you read Junie B Jones with your kids? I love her!

Kate and I read Junie B Jones alot when she was younger. They cracked me up. Kate does alot of reading on her own now though. I can't wait for Joey to start liking books beyond Green Eggs and Ham. I have a bunch of really awesome story books, but he won't sit still for them. I give it another year and he will be ready.

When I would read them to my Kindergartners, I would laugh and laugh. I thought they were bloody brilliant!
