So Paige, how are things with you? Did you get your 2nd qtr. grades done? We get report cards on Fri. I'm worried about Emily's a little. Taylor is an accelerated student so I don't worry so much about her, Emily has issues. We are trying to decide if we should consider holding her back this year. She has academic issues and immaturity issues. She is frustrated in school and them comes home and takes it out on everyone here. We are kind of at our wits end. It happens every year right after January, Emily starts to decline in school. So, I think I am going to talk to the Asst. Principal this week if her report card is showing poor performance.

I think a lot of people did. Have you ever seen the story about Dungee after his son committed suicide? DH borrowed a DVD from the Assoc. Pastor at our church, and OMG it is very moving, the man has a stregnth that is amazing.

I've heard the story but I've never seen a DVD about it. He really is an inspiration.

Hi all...I don't know if anyone is around to get this or not but I thought I would do a drive by on my way to bed and say goodnight. Today was a hectic one. Not bad...just hectic. All three boys had squeaky clean reports from the dentist today and it is BRRRRR cold out. I tried to pop on earlier but I was having problems with posting.

Good morning.

I have my usual small headache........that may or may not get big later. Which brings me to my neurologist appointment today, which brings me to my dh asking me this morning if I wanted him to take off work and go with me. A very unusual turn of events. I told him I was quite sure it would just be a "see and speak" type of appointment.........

THEN I found out (I still haven't mapquested) that this may be in Dallas. Connected to a hospital there. Which not only means I have to drive Dallas traffic , but they may send me straight over for any tests he wants done........and then I WOULD want my dh there to hold my hand.

HOWEVER because the appointment is at 3:00, he will not be able to go with me if it's in Dallas, because there will be no one to pick up Thing 2 from preschool........unlikely we'd have the appointment and make it all the way back before closing of the center.

This is when it would be nice to have family in town.

I was perfectly fine with this until this morning. NOW I am nervous.

Thanks Elisabeth.......it's in Grapevine, not Dallas. MUCH closer. Still I don't think he'll be able to come with, and for some reason going to the hospital rather than just an office is freaking me out.

aha, the white coat syndrome (where you get nervous around doctors and hospital type settings). Just keep telling yourself this is just the first visit, they aren't going to do anything crazy today. Deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Happy thoughts, Thinks Chatters at disney!!!
