I was just asking Paige if she knew where the King Ranch was in TX, well Jean saw my post and said she used to live there ages ago.

The King Ranch is a pretty famous ranch. Anyway, one of our horses was born there and is a grandson of a famous horse named Peppy San Badger. Our horse has the brand on his shoulder that marks him as a King Ranch horse. It is also the same brand that is on the King Ranch Ford trucks. Also, he used to work on the ranch and run cattle and stuff. Now our kids use him for rodeo.

We want to go there and visit the place where he was born someday. That's all, no real exciting story.

I love quarter horses! They really have a lot of personality. They sound beautiful.
