No, Ryan is my nephew. My Bro's son, they live in Colorado Springs. I have been there in 2004 when they first relocated there. Lovely lovely area. So much to see and do!!!

Yes, here I tell them to gel their hands and to wash constantly so they don't bring home anything from school or pick something up from one of the other kids, and guess who gets sick. ME!!!!! I guess I wasn't taking my own advice too well.

Did you see the pix of the CR being demolished today? Kinda sad!!!

That's where my cousin lives. She and her DH are retired and they have 3 grown sons and many grandchildren who all come and visit all the time.

Hey one day at a time!!!! Don't try to do too much!!! Do only what you actually feel like you can, the rest will wait. There is no sense in you taking on more than you can handle. Life will get better. Just don't do too much, then it will not be so overwhelming.

Those pictures look eerie to me. I think it might have been nice if it could have stayed the way Walt envisioned it...but change I guess.


However, since the change is happening...I am already knowing I have to have DVC ownership there if it ever comes open!

OMG, me too!!! I thought it was so sad to see it coming down. When we were there in Dec. we were offered a good price to purchase pts. at a friends and family rate for the upcoming AKL villas. We thought about it, but we don't want to own there, we want CR villas. So, if in Dec. this year if they are taking purchases for that, we will try to get the friends and family rate again and then purchase points. I think we got offered to purchase at $12,000 for the min. # of points (I think it was 150 pts.).

My pediatrician is a member, and I asked her to refer us so we could get the rate. She and I had been talking about it before we went down, I asked her to do it based on the rumor about CR villas, well of course Disney knew nothing about it when we asked, but the Dr. had sent down the referral. So, if they are hopefully selling when we go in Dec. I will have her send another referral for us. We have a great relationship with the DDs Dr.'s. She basically held our hand thru Emily's seizure stuff for the past 3 years, and then helped to have her evaluated for school for learning issues and such. So we have gotten to know each other fairly well, so I was very comfortable asking her for the referral.
