Well Hello Princess P, Tricia and Miss Bonnie Belle!!!

How was everyone's holiday? Ours was good, but very low key this year, saving for another trip to Disney.

We had a great Christmas. It's still going on actually. I've had house guests for a little over a week now. That's winding down. They are leaving on Monday. Everyone got along fine so that's all good.

Tomorrow we are having a late Christmas with DH's entended family. Sunday I am having a belated birthday for DS. His birthday was December 27th. I feel like I'm still running on adrenaline. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel now.

OK I will leave out the gory details but here is the general idea...
Well my sister was home and pulled same old crap again. I am tired of it!!! So I called her on it and WW9999 has begun!!!! My mom got in the middle and things got well a little out of hand. This all happened over the phone by the way so dont get too excited. I have not talked to my mom since tues night...it has been refreshing. My sis txt message me to call her b/c she know I wont, see this way she can use it against me later. I txt her back that I canot call b/c I lost my voice and left it at that. And I did loose my voice by the way. We are soo mature. The pc with my mom was so heated DH took the phone from me and told my mom she was not allowed to talk to me anymore Put her in her place!!! Sorry to all you moms!!! This has been a long time coming. She keeps calling DH trying to feel me out. It is funny. There has been no drama all week...soo quiet I could get used to this. Even my dad is calling my house, which he never does, using his cell phone instead of the home phone. I have not talked to him ether, but only because I literally cant. Ok is that enough info...?

Honestly...? When she acknowledges that my sister does not walk on water, makes mistakes, and was wrong !!!! So it may be awhile....

Just kidding! I have no plans for NYE. I don't even know what there is to do around here on NYE. So I guess we're staying home with the kids and playing board games and drinking sparkling cider.

On his real birthday we just did cake and let him open his gifts. His party with the neighborhood kids is Sunday afternoon. Poor kid, it's tuff having a birthday two days after Christmas. I wonder who planned that one? I always said I would give him a 1/2 birthday in June but I never did do that either.

I guess Dec. birthdays kind of suck. My ex DH's is on the 23rd. He says he was ripped off his whole life....people too busy, gone away, money too tight, etc!!

That's always fun to do. Family Night! We are going to a party at a friends house. The kids are invited so two of them will come with us. The teenager is going to a party (family) around the cornor from our house.

It's funny how we change as we get older. My parents always wanted to stay home on New Year's Eve. I always thought why? Now as a parent myself I totally get it. I worry about all the drunk people driving around. It always seems to be foggy on NYE. I really wish I could just stay home, rent some movies, hit the daiquiri shop and watch the ball drop on my big TV. Am I being a scrooge?
