Yeah, I have noticed that you do try to get people to tone it down, Tig. Sometimes I am innuendo-ey myself. But I think it depends on which mod you get. There is a thread I used to post on that has a pretty strict mod. There is an obvious difference between that thread and PMS. Once on that thread I posted a pic of Barry Manilow wearing a shirt that was unbuttoned. It was immediately poofed.

Ok, then mine was definitely unDIS like if a shirtless Manilow was poofed.

I don't mind posting the real innuendo-ey stuff and have a pretty dirty mind, but 2 things. One is, I really don't want the thread to get locked or poofed and of course I don't want to get banned. I used to not care, but I really do now. And also, there is a line that even I don't cross and I do know the DIS rules and I *try* to be respectful of that. I think that we can (and should, perhaps) be able to get away with a little more in these long threads because it's not something that the average person is going to see and click on (esp teens), however, there are DIS rules.

OK, off my soapbox,

ETA, put me on a site like the LushLadies site that I belong to and there is a different side of me, however. Not that I'm THAT bad there, but I like no language filters, even though my language is not very bad.

He wasn't even shirtless....that's the thing. He was wearing a shirt but it was unbuttoned. (Hot, I tell you!).

Tig, I used to think the mods did not patrol these long threads as much due to too many posts, but I no longer think that. Personally, I'm glad PMS is more relaxed because there is a lot of fun to be had there!
