Well I am on another Forum called VIRTUAL TOURIST posting with the same username as the DIS and inquiring about CHRISTMAS in London and all...this poster on VT is posting and saying how she is going with her family the EXACT SAME TIME.

Then she notices my username and says "aren't you on the DIS?"...well we have become very good friends. She is from Syracuse, NY where I was born and alllllll of my relatives still live.

We went from Posting on a Thread here about travels to the UK...to PMing each other to emailing ALL THE TIME.

Our families are doing the DICKENS WALK together and Christmas Dinner at HARD ROCK CAFE in London....

ISN'T THAT JUST SO WICKED COOL.

Jay....I LOVE the idea of three gifts. I may have to implement that next year. DS is just starting to understand that Christmas is Jesus' birthday, but he completely doesn't understand the concept of him rising from the dead or why he died. I just told him he died so we could pray to him. He's learning these things at school, too, so it's nice to have the reinforcement.

Sometimes they are "big" gifts, sometimes small (money wise) but always three total.

This year Goofy is getting a Nintendo DS and two games with it as one of his gifts $$$. Another gift cost less then $10 at the Dollar Store (I grabbed an assortment of gags like a whoopie cushion, fake poo, bug in a fake ice cube, etc) and put them all in a shoe box (that I decorated with stickers).

It gets better, her DH owns his own business LIKE US

they have two sons LIKE US

I LOVE whoopie cushions. We put one under uptight SIL's chair this summer. I couldn't breathe from the laughter.
