Yeah, that does help. Our nearest one is about 25 minutes from our house. Worth it though! Last year I got a gingerbread man tea set from Cracker Barrel. I LOVE it!! Do you buy stuff there or just eat?

I try not to look around so I don't find anything else to spend money on. But I have bought things there....We have four Cracker Barrels within 15 minutes of our house....can you tell we live in a tourist town. And they are always crowded. Where do you all like to eat when you eat out?

Well, the restaurants around here that we go to are Carrabba's, Olive Garden, Bob Evans, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Famous Dave's BBQ, TGI Fridays. Oh and the Original Steakhouse and Sports Theater (really good!). I think those are the only ones we ever go to. We also have Applebee's, Chilis, Pizza Hut, IHOP, and a couple others close by.

So what's around you that draws the tourists?

The Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood and Gatlinburg. So our town is full of tourists about 9 months out of the year. annoying bunch of........

Those are good places to eat. I like Carrabbas, but there isn't one close. We have Johnny Carinos which to me is pretty close to that and Olive Garden. They just opened a Charleys grilled subs.....we tried it today and it was pretty good.

I didn't know you lived near Dollywood! Well, if we ever decide to visit Dollywood (which we do want to do), we'll have to get together, lady!

Yes we will. Its funny, if it wasn't for Dollywood I wouldn't have met my DH. He had bought an RV and decided to travel and work a little and then travel some more. He didn't want to get married. Well his first stop on his tour on the country was to work at Dollywood......well he made friends with people I was friends with and that was that. 10 months later he has a permanent place to live and a wife.
