It's been a busy, busy couple of weeks! Thanks to all of you for hanging around!

We're going to buy our second party tickets this week, and then I'll post final plans!

BUT, we paid off our DVC rental! So we have that done, and airfare is purchased. After we purchase the second party tickets this week, everything that can be paid off in advance will be all done! I think that is such a great feeling! All we have left to do is to upgrade our one-day voucher to a multi-day ticket when we get there!

I talked DH in to another ADR, too!

When we decided to add on another Epcot day, I started straying over to the Dining/Restaurant board to find out if a certain rat is still appearing at Chefs.

This was the one ADR that I wanted to get on our last trip but was unable to do so because we ended up at Chefs for our CPR package (for dinner, where there are no special appearances).

I wondered on over to the WDW website, put in the date/time I was hoping for (after researching appearance times), and the exact match popped up! I talked to DH to see what he thought, and be said to book it!

So, we're now going to be having lunch at Chefs with Remy!!!

I'm so excited!!

EDIT 2: I just read your DLR TR, too! I'm really hoping to go there next summer before I start law school (as that will be my last trip for a while and I've never been there!) Do you feel like you got a good chunk of everything done in 4 days? I am hoping to fly in on a Monday and have that day to just check out the area, and then have four full days at the parks and fly out on Saturday. We're looking at June (a bit more time to save some money and PTO after this trip.) Do you think that's do-able to get a lot done??

In case anyone hasn't noticed, I've been online a lot this week! Our receptionist is out, along with quite a few other staff members, for vacation. So, I'm up-front until the assistant comes back tomorrow to be up here until the receptionist comes back on Monday. It's a nice break, but my desk looks like a tornado hit it! I'm not looking forward to going back to that tomorrow!

PAH-LEASE keep me company and/or give me things to look at!

I thought our timing was perfect out at DLR. Of course I could have spent more time there, but I didn't feel like I missed anything. We had a really slow pace too, we took breaks, went to bed early (we tried our best not to stray from EST too much!) We also were able to do the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour. We really got a lot done. Oh, and unless you're able to splurge for the "on-site" hotels, staying at one of the places on Harbor is a great way to save some money! We were at the far end of the block and it was like walking from the back building of Coronado Springs to the main building to get to the DLR gate, then like walking from when the buses drop you off at Epcot to the front of the park. Totally do-able walk! There's a thread over on the DLR/California board that's a guide to DLR for WDW vets. Extremely helpful! Feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to help!

I'm so jealous! I want to meet Remy really bad but I have NO desire to eat at Chefs de France! I would suck it up and go just to meet Remy, but I've been out voted...on more than one occassion.

Hey, are you guys gonna do costumes for the Halloween Party?? The 26th will be our 2nd party so we're dressing up that night but I don't know what we're going as yet.

Great!! I found that thread a while ago and have it memorized; haha. I'm really hoping to splurge for on-site since that will be my last vacation for a good 4-5 years. (No traveling in law school since I will hopefully have a clerk position during the summers, and I don't think a firm would be appreciative of a new-hire taking a vacation right after starting there upon graduation.) We'll definitely have to wait and see, though. I've looked at where you stayed and another place called Portofinio. Did you by any chance see it while you were there?

I had a hard time talking DH in to Chefs for our Candlelight package, but the entire family enjoyed it. (The parents didn't know where we were eating, and mom kept saying "I hope it isn't France" but they both really enjoyed it, too.) The food is really basic and not too far out there.

We are dressing up! We're going to be pirates at the first party, but I'm keeping the second costume secret (on here) until we get back to post pictures. (I'm a Halloween dork and am insanely excited about my corny little costume.) I'll let you know what it is through a PM or response to your FB message with my cell, though!

Just read your plans for your trip and it doesn't look like we'll be in the same parks at all Our trip is far too short! So jealous of the Fort Wilderness Haunted Carriage ride!! That is definitely on my must-do list for when I actually have a grown up and don't have to plan around school. And the DVC rental sounds like SUCH a great deal. AKV is a dream resort for me!!

I didn't notice the Portofino, but when we were walking I was pretty tunnel-visioned on DL

You know how when you're looking at the Pre-Trip Report page, with all the posts listed by title? There are the ones that I'm are currently reading that I check for, but there are always other titles that look interesting. But I often don't click on them because they're already so long and I feel weird joining in late.
I've been seeing yours and wondering what this muffin said and how it said it but never started reading until today. But now I am all caught up!

Your plans sound great, and I am jealous that you get to have a Halloween trip! We go in early September and are SO close but not quite in time for a MNSSHP.
Can't wait to see your surprise costumes!

I've heard a lot of people decided to skip IOA/US/HP this fall. Now I am really worried about crowds. But we're still going, and hoping that staying at US and having a few days to see things will make it all ok.
Sounds like your decision to skip HP this time around is a good one for you, and I think two MNSSHP sounds like a TON of fun!
