Ahhh...another good reason to live far away from the in-laws! That and the whole "just thought I'd stop by" thing make it worth it, I guess.

I thank the good Lord that my in-laws live nearly 1000 miles away on a regular basis.

How did I find out? Local news, one of those emergency broadcast alerts, my weather channel icon on computer flashing? Nope none of those, it was Fox News. I just changed from playhouse disney to fox news and they came across with the warning. 2 minutes later was when all my local things alerted.

One of the workers is having a birthday today. So the others asked me if I could take them to town to get her a birthday cake.

I'm sure I burned about $30 worth of gas in the hoopidy van so they could buy her a $14 cake.

I feel for you, having a 9 year-old son. I love my kids no matter what, but they (especially DS9) can really bring out the worst in me sometimes!

DD got her braces off today! The ortho gave her a cake so she was happy. We took her to Red Robin for lunch to celebrate befoer she went back to school. Whe will be smiling a lot today

DH and I went to Best Buy while she was at the appt. and he bought a new computer. God help me--he's setting up some network and server and [several other computer-related words] that I don't understand! He is a computer geek

but I him so I will do my best not to shoot him!

That Diva cup is good for so many things. It have a label on it never leave home with out. Good gift for kids, pets and co-workers

Actually, DS6 tried his April Fools skills out on DS2. He told him he had a banana peel on his head. DS2 then spent the next 5 minutes with his hand on his head running up to me and yelling, "Mommy! Get nana OFF!"

That was actually pretty funny.
