poor mickeyboat is going to have a coronary when she gets on, Pie just questioned her being a lawyer on the mom leaving the kid in the car thread.

:yay: looks like it might be a fun night tonight. I might have to drag my laptop into bed with me tonight to watch the fun (still not feeling well:sick:).

Anything good going on over here? I have been a winner for a while. Laundry, vacuum, ran to the grocery store and went out to pick up DS new BS handbook. Got the strawberries prepped for shortcake tonight and even boiled 2 doz eggs for dyeing tomorrow. Phew! I still have laundry to do, but I thought I'd check in.

Nat--Crawfish boil? yum! I told DH we are having a shrimp boil as soon as the weather is nice enough to use the patio. (which could be a while) Give the doggy a treat from me.

MDFM--how much snow have you gotten? If it was me I'd've waited for my DH to shovel when he got home.

I think if you made those "I survived the Kindergarten Party" tshirts and sold them your PTO would have big bucks!:thumbsup2 I say that like I am involved in PTO--I'm not, but I used to be over-involved back when DD was in Kdg. PLease don't kick me out of the losers' club!

By know I beleive most of you know that I am LUVMYTINK'S DH. I just wanted to swing by and say hello to all the people that have abducted my wife and kept her sane when I have been away from home. Thanks :thumbsup2

Hi ya'll..I started the morning off by poisoning my Catholic husband. If he knew he shouldn't eat meat, should he at some point said, "No" to the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich I made him? I even asked him yesterday if he was going to observe...Well, we both forgot. Then he had chicken for lunch on his own..so I don't feel so bad..Hope he doesn't go to hell for that..

I had our egg hunt this morning..240 eggs for 5 kids...plus the other kids had stuffed some and put them in their yards, too. So we had lots and lots of eggs. And two of the kids were complaining that another got more than them...I mean how much is enough??you would think around 50 eggs per kid give or take...BTW, they weren't my kids either with more or complaining..In fact my DS8 is sweet, he opens an egg and thanks me for what is inside..where does he get that from?
...
Wow that is a ton of eggs!! What lucky kids! I just did one for my dd and 4 of the neighbor kids. Kind of a last minute idea and I had to scrape together some change and candy that would fit. They only got 7 each! I won't tell them they were ripped off! :rotfl:

Hey don't forget on the Are You Snarky thread I said he will be snarky for me so be careful what you say to him :scared1:

:lmao:

I can't remeber if it was this thread that was asking about Horton Hears A Who. We went to see it today. We took all three of the kids with us.

My review was it was pretty good. Daughter liked it and sat well. #1 son liked it and only needed to be told to sit down twice or so. Mr No Fear (who was almost banned from the theater last time) did pretty well. He got a little bored at a few parts but for the most part did good. We had our own row on the side of the theater so he could bounce between seats. I also smuggled in his favorite candy for back up. I personally thought it was ok. It was a little slow in some parts but still a pretty good movie. Go early if you are going to go. We went to the first showing and it was full. It will only get worse as the day goes on.

If this is the wrong thread, oh well.

Hey you! Thanks we enjoy the fun banter with your lovely wife! Take good care of yourself and hurry home.

That's MY title! I am craft challenged.

Okay, okay, I admit it! I am (gasp!) a crafter! Not big stuff that you would see at a craft fair, but kids' crafts. It was part of my job, many years ago. I have 100+ crafts for paper plates (or styrofoam cups, your pick), know how to turn coffee filters into suncatchers and have multiple recipes for homemade playdoh! PLEASE don't kick me out!

 Here's hoping you feel better soon!

MNFM--how much snow have you gotten? If it was me I'd've waited for my DH to shovel when he got home.

Looks to be about a good six inches (That's what she said), but it is still snowing. Thankfully, the ground is warm enough that once the intial shoveling was done, it melts as soon as it hits the driveway and sidewalk. Now the yard is a whole nother story, but it does not require work from me, so I could care less. (Not true, but it sounds good!)

Oh, and DH drives a rear-wheel drive, so he couldn't even make it up the driveway if I hadn't shoveled first! :lmao: Maybe on a Monday or right before a business trip, but I wouldn't leave it for him to do on a Friday. I like to enjoy my weekends!:scared1:

:woohoo:

I tried to convince my husband's grandparents to have an easter egg hunt for the adults on sunday and fill the eggs with cash:banana: She asked if I really wanted to do that and I was like :yay: so lets see if she remembers!

I personally think its a great family tradition to start!

Thanks for all the good wishes for Marlin! He is pretty PO'd with the tube on his head! But he has been sleeping a lot, so it is nice!

I'm out for the rest of the weekend, I am running my first 10K tomorrow :woohoo: Don't fill the thread up too much this weekend!

Godo luck to all of you tomorrow night who have to prepare for the Easter Bunny!

I love it! Now she is not longer "pie lady", but she is just simply "Pie"!:rotfl:

I'm lost. Do you mean #69? or 68, whatever....

OMG... I'm losing it

68 sorry!!

It was 7:39 when I looked at the clock and realized that the twins haven't even eaten dinner yet...

Don't be impressed. I WAAAAYYYY overbought the discount plastic eggs last year. I also overbought candy this year. I bought some, then I stuck it in the back of my closet, forgot about it, bought more, then I remembered it. I should have kept the Reese's eggs for myself..
doh.gif

Since I didn't want to end up with extra candy left over...I just stuffed it all in the eggs. I could have put a bunch in each egg, but I wanted to get rid of the eggs, too..

I'm sure your kids were quite happpy with the eggs they got...we had too many..mine would have been happy with a lot less..
