Ok how about these instead of that huge complicated cake? He likes sharks too. He asked me to bring him one back from Hawaii. I bet I could make these. Do you think this would qualify for Winner Mom?

You could make those. Personally, I hate making cupcakes--they take too much time. If it were me, and I wanted the shark theme, make a sheet cake-- but make a couple cupcakes first, then use the rest of the batter for a 9x9 or 9x13 pan. Then frost the main cake blue, decorate shark cupcakes and put them on top. Does that make ANY sense??? Or just frost a cake blue and put shark fins sticking up from it? Even easier. Then a clever saying like "______" I can't think of one right now, but give me a few minutes....

Frost cake blue, sprinkle a few goldfish (or swedish fish around it, like they're swimming and then use something (like the pepperrmint patty in your cupcake link--or a tostisto chip?) for a shark fin. Write "Have a Great White Birthday Mr. Middle" Not too hard at all but cute....

Ok-- I promise I am not really a winner but I really do like doing cakes--the just for fun kind, not the perfect kind to sell.

On the honeymoon we went scuba diving. I got seasick...My story was that I was trying to attrack sharks for the husband!
We did see one, but it was dead and being eaten by a sea turtle!!!

I checked two things off my list-so here I am!!!

I just remembered a story that will show what kind of a mom I will be!
When the husband and I were dating, we both worked at a tanning salon. On nights that we would both work together we usually had a hard time deciding what would be for dinner. One time I found a bunch of quarters from my purse and went to the candy machine(the one with 4 different candies) I came back and provided him with a well balanced meal Fruits(skittles), Protein(reeses pieces), dessert(M&M’s) and red hots!

The Warden took me out for a walk. It was great. But here is the funny thing.
While we where walking we hear this sound so Warden John goes to see what it is. He comes walking out of the yard with a hisser and while he is holding it up and I am backing away from the hisser it turns into the pisser. I fell down laughing at him. My neighbor came running out to see if I was okay and I could not stop laughing. I think I turned into the pisser

Mr. Middle will be thrilled with his birthday greetings. I will show him when he gets home. Happy day will you post the train wreck? That one is his favorite, he loves to watch it. He is crazy and weird like his mom.
