Miss Introvert is upset because her hair is "bumpy" in a ponytail. Uhh... kid, sorry but you have CURLY hair!??! There's not much I can do about that - talk to your DAD. It's HIS hair gene you have!

John AKA WardenJohn and I just got home from the DRs. They did the mammogram and everything is gone They do not need to go back in.
So now I will be going to Dana Farber for my treatments and I am good to go.

Oh so cool!

Okay, this is pretty lame, but cause for celebration in our house.

Our dd is only toilet trained at school, and needs lots of prompts and reminders there. Recently she's been ignoring her Pull-up for the bus ride home and wearing her big girl underwear. (She's mentally disabled and a child with autism. Language is a HUGE obstacle for her, with her lack of verbal language and only a handful of sign words.)

Today she came home as usual. I wasn't paying too close of attention, and forgot to remind her to use the toilet.

She used the potty independently.

I am so proud of her, I almost can't stand it!

Congratulations! That is definitely a reason to celebrate!

Great news!!! I'm kind of new, but from what I can tell, it sounds like you've been going through a pretty rough patch. It sounds like things are getting much better though! My prayers are with you (& WardenJohn)!

Dh and I were discussing if we were bad parents this morning bc we were doing the rain dance hoping it rains out tomorrow nights LL parade (it is sooo boring) and possibly Sat's games. Would love the paradeto be cancelled, if it clears for Sat then fine.

Don't feel too bad. I did the rain dance yesterday, and I'm doing it again today (as I type this as a matter of fact - you ought to see me! ). It's not so much that I'm tired of running back & forth to baseball practice for DS9 - it's lugging DD3 & DS6 around, trying to keep them entertained & off of the baseball field!

I'm freaking out. My MIL is coming in approximately 48 hours. She's staying with us. House is at a cleancom 500 and I need it to be at a very good 1.

Morning, where's the coffee?
Tried to go to bed alittle early last night, even #2DS fell asleep without playing "will you please GO TO BED" game. Then I got woke up at 2am
#2DS, "mommy I wan sumfing." me- fine go back to your room and turn Noggin on (he will usually fall asleep with in 10-20 mins later).................20 mins later "mommy I wan sumfing else" me- there's nothing esle on at this time in the morning.
I set the timer on his tv and of course he was still up when it went off because ..........."mommy tv turn off I wan wittle bear" me-fine just go back to sleep.
I guess he went back to sleep cause the next thing I know it's 8:30.


Now I'm taking the twosome to daycare in a little while and then #1DS & I are gonna go out to lunch by ourselves.

Hi Kellie, thanks for asking...I am fine. I think I can go get my driver's license replaced today, I have been waiting for the police report to be entered..I need a copy to get my new DL. I am so po'd, because for once I had a good picture on my DL, it was good for 10 years. If I have to take the pic again, I am gonna look like crap fror 10 years..

The glass guys are coming by soon to repair my window. I hope they do a good job, I have heard not everyone does and there can be problems with the window later on..


Again, I am so thrilled about your news Kellie..Now the treatments start? If it's not too nosey, are you having chemo and radiation? I hope it's not too tough for you, but you are such a trouper, I know you will do well and then you can get your PUPPY!!!!!


Yesterday I was MIA because I spent all day working on orgainizing/cleaning out my bathroom closet...the one that houses all of our toiletries, medicines, etc...I cannot believe how much shampoo, body wash, deodarants, TOOTHBRUSHES..(OMG, I must have 30 toothbrushes from all the Walgreens rebates.) so I have been going through everything (you should have seen it, stuff just tossed in there, piled up) and tossing expired meds, and stuff that isn't worthy of taking up space. I am almost done with it.

My stragtegy is starting with a furthermost corner of the house and working my way out to the other end. Good, clutter removing cleansing. I did my closet, next to it is our bathroom. That will take a long time. Next is the bedroom, and on, and on...I figure if I ever get it all done, I won't have to worry about stepping into WINNERDOM and leaving you guys, because by then the closet will be a wreck again and I can start the whole process over...


Shore, I am worried about your crab poisoning..did you go to the DR? I know you don't need 10 more mothers, but we are concerned..infections really scare me.

Ok, for spreadsheet informational purposes, it's on my lower back, it's a peachy-pinky colored gerbera daisy, and I got it 3 years ago right before we went to WDW because I wanted to look hot in my bikini.

I feel for you. I hate the "list" and I had the "visit" but at least when MIL leaves, the house will be spotless, so you should be able to get out of any kind of Winner cleaning for at least two weeks.

I read that Kellie got more good news. That is great!

I am swamped and will be for the next few weeks. We're gearing up for a RV show in a few weeks and got to get all the prep done for that. Finally got the EEG scheduled for DS6 next Wednesday. That'll be super fun. No caffeine or sugar for 24 hours prior and have to keep him awake for all but 5 hours prior. Oh, yeah. Super fun. My house is sliding toward CleanCom7 and I the end of the month bookkeeping is stacking up and waiting for me to deal with it.

I probably won't be around much for awhile. Sigh.

Kellie, I am SO happy to read your news! Congratulations! We'll keep the prayers and good thoughts coming since I am sure that your treatments will still give you some difficult days ahead. That's okay, though. We are all here for you and KNOW that you can do it.

DH FINALLY went back to work today, so I can resume my posting duties. Today is laundry day for me so that's not much fun. Oh, well, I am starting to wash DD's spring/summer clothes, so it's fun to see what I got her last fall (on clearance, since I am 'frugal') AND since they are being washed for the first time, I will probably have lots of sparkles in the dryer lint!

I also volunteered to watch a friend's DD2 while she went on a job interview. My DD is being a typical "only child who is not currently the center of attention", while friend's DD2 follows her around like a puppy. SO much more attention than she usually gets, just not from the right person!

Lara, enjoy the last day. Do nothing and gloat about it!
