I was just gonna say someone is taking you seriously?????? You forgot to use your sarcastic smiley. Some people obviously cant read sarcasm they need a smiley:rolleyes1

Those are the best and so entertaining....:rotfl2:

DS starts Pre_K in Sept and I am pulling him out for 5 days in October, maybe I should go post and see what they say to that...My god..Pre_K....How will he ever make up those days of colors and shapes:lmao:

Well kiss that full ride to Harvard goodbye.

15yrs from now Harvard snooty snoots reviewing your DS's scholarship application:
" Honor roll from Kindergarten thru 12th grade, multiple extracurricular activities, excellent referals from teachers & guidance counselors. Looks like a perfect person to give the scholarship to,.........................................................but wait, his parents made him miss 5 days of school during Pre-K to go to WDW :sad2: :sad2:
What a shame we have to turn him down now."

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That is what color my girl is. She is really smart. I bet she could have been a guide dog too. She loves the kids. She is 12 years old and still fetches like she is a pup. She is smart enough to know to put the ball in my hand otherwise I won't throw it for her.:thumbsup2
Aren't they great? I was never much of a dog person before, but I love this one. So mellow and affectionate.

So funny. Okay, I admit it. We took our DDs out for a week to go to WDW when they were in K and 3rd. The oldest went on to be a HS valedictorian, graduated from college with honors and is now in grad school. Just think of what she might have accomplished if she hadn't missed that week.

:rolleyes2 Oh for the love of all things holy. I can't even read half of that thread (it's too long winded with some people)

I don't think that when #1DS missed a day of school 2 yrs. ago because we were coming home from vacation (looks like the same situation as the OP) it was consider unexcused, but that could have been cause I explained that DH had just returned from Iraq & it was his leave time. But here they understand about military families & the parent can only take vacation time at certain times.

Your husband returning form Iraq?? Yeah, likely story. I am so sick of the military families taking advantage of the school system. I am sure your son missed some very important instruction that day. I am sure there are concepts to this day that he still doean't understand because of that one day. I bet you don't even know it because you are too busy planning your next vacation.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yeah, she'll never be POTUS because of you. The Perfect Parents will get to her before she even has a chance to get to the primaries. How do you feel about that vacation now??

Ok I put my two cents in over there too.
How the heck has that thread not been moved over to the CB yet?
