Oh for the love of all that is holy! My migraine & I can't deal w/this tonight!
However...I will be taking both kids out Mon & Tues of next week to go to Disney. I told both their teachers. They said have fun. Most of the times my kids miss, besides being sick, is because family from out of state come to visit in FL & we want to spend time w/them. Everybody's spring break, winter break, fall break, whatever break is different so unless you never want to see any family, somebody's gonna be missing a day or two of school.

On a lighter note, I managed to get 3 rooms cleaned today. AND the laundry is caught up. Well, not all folded & put away but clean & partially dry. I went to Sam's tonite & spent big bucks on adult beverages & paper plates.
I should just go to bed now, but I know I won't. Wouldn't wanna miss the latest school thread happenings.

And also? The cable is still "out". Maybe I'll be able to get them to school on time in the morning. They'll probably start going into withdrawal. I was asked several times today when I was going to call them to fix it.

My DS8's kindergarten teacher (two years ago) is more of a Disney fanatic than I am. She has to take two kids out of school AND herself..she does it every year for a week..

I don't know about you guys, I went to college back in the stone age. but my credits were at LEAST 3-4 per class...what kind of math does this college follow?

I think I had one class that was 2 credits, but those were rare

I'll bet she majored in drama. And yeah, back in the stone age if I had taken 10 classes at a time I would've graduated in way less than 4 years! Either that or had a PhD by now.

Hope everyone is feeling better this morning. I can not get sucked in today. I am going to try hrh's method and post what needs to get done today.

DS5 Kindergym
Me workout, I took 10lbs off and put them back on
Me buy babywipes
DS5 visit Kindergarten for gym, lunch, recess, storytime
Dishes from last night
Find something to fix for dinner.
Vacuum
pick up kids rooms
DD7 100th day of school project

Ugh looks like DD is getting sick again, or the coughing this weekend was a preview of what was to come. She woke up all stuffed up and coughing.
Figures it has to happen the day her big brother has Space Night at school (it's to see everyone's space projects). Now I guess I just have to wait and see how she is by then.
I guess that mean I better get stuff done in the house today cause I know I'll be getting whatever she has by the end of the weekend.

Morning all,

Is everyone going to stay out of trouble today? I hope not. So far work is slow so I am hoping for at least one good thread today. A troll or two wouldn't hurt either. Gotta exercise my mind somehow ya know.

Lara glad your cold is better but bummer on your stomach. Antibiotics do that to me too. Especially the strong ones. I found that if I took it with a meal it helped. Made the mistake once of taking it between meals...I thought I was going to die my stomach was cramping so bad.

Tink take lots of Vit. C. They say it helps boost your immune system. Zinc too.

I hope Shore is feeling better since she is leaving very very soon. And I hope she finished her laundry.

HRH...did you take the laundry out of the dryer yet?
