Sister in Law just dropped off home made chicken pot pie from her mom. Other wise we would be go to Jimmies House for dinner (take out place down the street from us)

Hey y'all..had to share this LOSER moment I just had. The WINNER mom took me over for a short while, and I made homemade shepherd's pie. I even made homemade mashed potatoes for the top..Browned my ground beef w/onion, seasoned just right..heated my veggie mix in the micro, prepared my pan. Put the meat in the pan, and started topping it with my beautiful mashed potatoes.... huh, something is wrong here...I FORGOT MY VEGGIES!!! So now I am scooping out the mashed potatoes and the meat is sticking to the potatoes...I get them out and put in the veggies...now I top the veggies with potatoes that have visible flecks of hamburger in them...I can't win, I guess being a LOSER is my destiny!


Do I DARE bake the frozen blackberry cobbler I have in the freezer for dessert?



p.s. could someone explain to me what is going on with the Dis...they are deleting all the big threads?? WHY??

Yeah, my kids are allowed to play outside by themselves only in the back yard though. Don't tell the other moms.

We went to Disneyland in November. It was perfect for my kids. I am afraid WDW is too big for them now. I think we will go when they are bigger and don't want to kill each other.

My boys are 8 and 9, they want to kill each other constantly, and we still manage to have a little fun..


The phone just rang downstairs, and I let the machine pick it up.. I think it was another mom saying they are coming to the party..I'm afraid to look..when are all the NO's going to call..I don't want ALL yesses!!

Ugh! I had that two years ago...I throw beach parties for the kids, but I only have so many parking passes. So my kids were in day care an hour away. I invited all there friends thinking that only a few would come...Nope! it was the hit of the school...I ended up running around to my neighbors borrowing extra guest passes.

They deleted the mega threads because they were slowing the boards down. Most of them are still there, just a new thread.

okay why do little ask so many ?s My next door neighbor who is a loser like us or maybe more so. But her son who is 3 just asked me where the white will go when the snow melt? Then way ice cream has no bones? This boy is to funny but he drives his mom nuts. He does this all day.

Shoot, my kids are outside by themselves in the front yard. Gasp! Riding their bikes! I should be arrested.

I'm hoping DH calls before he comes home so I can tell him to stop & get food. I planned to make a shepherd's pie tonite too, only w/microwave mashed potatoes, but I haven't had a chance to go to the store because DS has been home sick all week.
And the other good thing about Pizza Hut, besides the fact that they take credit cards, is that you can order online. You don't even have to move your hands from the keyboard!

My sister owned a scrapbook store too. I don't take pictures of my kids because I always think I will remember but I don't. I don't have birthday parties for my kids because they are too much work. That's me, too. First I did it with cross stitching. I have so many patterns and supplies it's not even funny. I also have a lot of scrapbooking supplies, and two really cute Mickey books. Now it just seems like a monumental waste of time..maybe someday..

Mmmmmm that Twix bar really hit the spot after the Taco Bell I got for dinner. The 2 little ones are already in their beds. They asked if it was bedtime yet. Must have had a hard day at day care. Big brother is sleeping over at his friend's house yet again. Now I got to figure out what I'm gonna do. Do I go to bed early or stay up and DIS. There is stuff that needs to get done around the house..........................shoot that can wait till tomorrow, right?

Just alittle peer pressure

Decided to stay up and Dis but have to pick up alittle too. Afterwards will head to the bedroom and Dis some more. Thanks to Lara mentioning laptops I now have my laptop sitting on my dresser permanently.
