Well you'll have to come to The World if we can ever get organized enough to do a Disney meet.

Kids are up and husband is home...I've enticed him to order pizza...we have no cash but Pizza Hut takes credit cards :teeth:

Dinner is at least 3 hours away for me. Dunno what I am going to do though. I kinda want cheesy bread but that would kill my diet.

I would knock a bit of sense into him. I find a heavy frying pan works best.

You know, you're lucky you didn't start this thead a few weeks earlier or you'd have it in limbo today during long-thread-shut-down day. :rotfl:

Oh, and Lara has seen my house so she knows what a loser I am...and it was clean that day, relatively speaking. :)

ETA...Oops, I forgot to say hello. :teeth: I'm so bad that I bought the scrapbooking stuff and never once used it. Of course I've bought LOTS of things never to use them.

Hello!!
That's me, too. First I did it with cross stitching. I have so many patterns and supplies it's not even funny. I also have a lot of scrapbooking supplies, and two really cute Mickey books. Now it just seems like a monumental waste of time..maybe someday..

How many children's shows do you have to watch before your brain starts oozing out of your ears?

I have two sorta hobbies. Durings the holidays I make homemade soap and bath products for friends. I also used to collect gemstones. I actually have a small but nice collection. Was going to start making jewelry but that is expensive and I would rather put that money towards Disney. I might actually sell some of my nicer stones.

Just dropping in to say Hi. I'm not back yet from the mental trip to Hawaii I left on yesterday.

Boy this sounds familiar

This was our conversation just last night....
Him: Did you hear the tax refund went through
Me: Yes, it should be around $1800
Him: We can add that to the car fund (we are hoping to pay cash for our next vehicle)
Me: OR we could add it to the WDW fund :rolleyes1
Him: We are NOT going THIS year.

He has informed me that I have a better chance of going next year for our 10 year anniversary :confused3 I think 9 years is long enough for a celebration :teacher:

Great minds think alike, $1800 would make a nice trip to WDW, I think..

I haven't approached the subject, yet, but our conversation would be -word-for-word verbatim of your conversation..

I would tell my hubby in no uncertain terms that I DO NOT COOK ON VACATION!! Let alone have to build a friggin fire before I can roast a hot dog!!

Set up tents? Over my dead body.

A vacation is NOT somewhere that I have to use dirt as a pillow. I have enough dirt under the couch. I'd rather stay home.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Ya know you can sorta combine camping and Disney. Stay at Fort Wilderness in the cabins or rent and RV. He can camp and you can have fun in the parks and sleep on a real mattress.

Or YOU can stay in teh cabin, and HE can pitch a tent outside.. Then you get the nice comfy bed all to yourself!

Back in the summer of 89 my sister and I were living with our grandmother in a small town about an hour outside of Omaha because we were in the process of moving from overseas to Maryland. My grandma would let myself and my sister walk to the community pool all by ourselves. We could go to the park by ourselves. She let us do alot of things by ourselves. And at this point I was 8 and my sister 9. Where I live now...I wouldn't dream of letting kids go anywhere by themselves.

And you need to get yourself to Orlando. Your kids need to experience the World. Which is why I am thinking about a 2009 Loser Dis meet. Oh yeah

Yeah, my kids are allowed to play outside by themselves only in the back yard though. Don't tell the other moms.

We went to Disneyland in November. It was perfect for my kids. I am afraid WDW is too big for them now. I think we will go when they are bigger and don't want to kill each other.
