My DH is in TX till the end of April so I don't have to look busy for awhile
I tell him,when he calls that I have done more stuff around the house than I actually did. I'm sure that's gonna end up biting me in the behind later or I'll just stay up all night and power clean before he gets home

Sadly though ever since I got that food poisoning acouple of weeks ago from a sub (not subway) I can't look at even a Subway commercial.

Is stopping your car and then restarting a few minutes later better for the environment than letting it idle for a few min? I could have sworn someone told me you put out more greenhouse gases starting your car than at any other time while driving. That is why they have you drive your car for at least 15 min before having the emissions tested.

Yes, if you use the drive thru without a deathly sick child in the car (apparantly that is the only acceptable reason other than total disability), then you are a lazy, good-for-nothing fat slob who doesn't give a rip about the environment or the poor clerks and customers inside the store who are missing out on your bubbling personality because you chose to stay out of sub zero temps and stay in your car and not come in and chat with them..

How's that for a Cliff's version folks?

I've heard that you waste more gas restarting than idling, but I'm not sure. I'd call DH but he is still in class (He's the one that told me).

I was reading the morning sickness thread and thinking about all the stuff that used to make me sick too. I can't go to one of my favorite places because I got so sick one night.

My DH is still mystified by it all. He thinks we are freaks.

It depends on the topic whether I can discuss it with DH. He thinks I spend too much time on here and then I remind him of all the time he spends looking on ebay for watches and ugly ties, he then conceeds and doesnt complain.

He did want to get on the other night and defend his fave, Ronald Reagan, and he also wanted to get on one time and defend Philly sports fans, but then he went back to ebay instead.
