In my adult life I don't think I have waited more then 45 minutes. Not sure about when I was a kid. I do remember those line being really long at WDW back in spring vacation of 1987

How about you.

Just last week I waited an hour for the Nemo ride, but before that it was probably when Space Mountain opened and I waited 90 minutes. No fastpasses then.

I remember waiting almost 3 hours in line for Star Tours when it first opened. Oh to be young and foolish again!:rotfl:

3 hours?????? Hope that came with lunch and a potty brake.
YIKES.

Thank goodness for fast passes.

I can remember waiting about 2 hours once for Splash Mountain.
I was with friends though and we chatted and had fun in line. Now I could NEVER do that with my kids. :scared1:

Oh, when Indiana Jones first opened, I remember standing in that line for four hours. :)

I waited for 3 hours for space in 75 the year it opened, promised never to do that again, so it took me a couple of years after BTMRR opened before I rode it.

Recently just shy of an hour for nemo, I wouldn't have done it, except the kids wanted to.

25 minutes for believe it or not the Jungle Cruise last year!!!! A bit of a stuff up on my part as the day before had I had ridden with my daughter and only had a ten minute wait. From what I thought was the same length of line I was going to ride with my son but by the time I realised that this day the queue went upstairs and was twice as long we decided to wait it out. Crazy when the longest we waited for Splash, Space etc was 15 mins...

Probably about 90 minutes for Rocket Rods. I have waited and hour for Space too. For Nemo we only waited for about 45 minutes and that was because it was having technical difficulties.

Back in 1991 my then boyfriend and I went to Walt Disney World. We were both in our early 20's, just out of college. My parents lived in Orlando area, so we were visiting them and did a few days of Disney.

In August.

Enough said?

We were waiting for the submarine ride, it was about 110 when humidity was taken into account. After an hour or so, we were getting snippy. Another hour and he was ready to go. I took some of my ice water (how was it still icy, I don't know, this is an OLD memory now, lol) and flicked it at him. He said something to me and I threw the whole cup at him to "cool him off". He LEFT. Told me he was getting a cab and flying home. I thought for sure our relationship was over, that my soul mate was leaving me forever. I chased him down, we ended up talking it over, cooling off for real and marrying 3 years later.

It was one of only 3 fights we had in our first 10 years of relationship all cause of the hot humid Disney World lines.

PS when Great America in Gurnee, IL opened up the American Eagle back 30 years ago my whole family waited for hours to ride it. I think it was at least 2 1/2 hours, maybe 3 1/2. I remember a sign, about half way through the wait that said "Wait time from here 2 hours 45 minutes" The starting wait time was 4 hours. But it went faster than that. It was worth it, I still remember sitting in the front car right next to my Daddy. He was obviously larger then me and they only had lap belts, I flew out of my seat down the first hill and remember vividly him grabbing me so I didn't fly out of the coaster! Ah, the joys of coasters as an 8 yr old when you didn't even use seatbelts in cars.

Absolutely 2 hours (pre-child!) for Splash when it was newer. Won't make that mistake again, that's a lot of standing...

Oh, when Indiana Jones first opened, I remember standing in that line for four hours. :)

I remember those long Indy lines where you could decode the
hieroglypvhics on the walls while you waited. I think we still have a few cards left.

I waited 2 hours for Space Mtn when it reopened after being rehab a couple of years ago.

Back when Idny first opened, my dad and I wasted almost four hours standing in line. What a joke. Should've just spent that time on other rides. Not that I dont love Indy, I LOVE IT!!! But it's not worth wasting so much time for. But it was cool. The line streched from adventureland ALL the way out and down into the front of Main Street. It was crazy!

My friends and I were on a High School Graduation Trip the year Indy opened. I think we waited over 3 hours. I remember the line que started almost at the entrance of big thunder mountain. The really sad thing was that I remember riding a couple of times so we probably wasted 12 hours waiting for that **** ride. It's still one of my very favs though.

When I was 17 I waited 2 1/2 hrs for Space Mountain spring break 89, but as an adult the longest I ever waited was an hour for Dumbo. The things we do for our kids!

im not sure but i think the most ive ever waited for anything is about an hour.
that was only coz they sign said something like 40 mins and it was actually longer... if it had said an hour i wouldnt have bothered! lol
i simply qouldnt wait any longer than that anyway for any ride, no matter what it was. theres always a next time! lol

D.

Ug... this makes me mad all over again. We waited in line something near one full horrible hour for Monsters Inc when it opened. Hot and crying kids and grumpy parents everywhere! And the ride? :sad2: But, like they say... at least we were at Disneyland!
