Goofy gave us a lie in this morning, well it was Sunday and we were off on our organised trip to Paris.

We had breakfast around 8.15am and it was alot busier than earlier!! We wondered to the Hotel New York around 9am as our Cityrama ticket stated we needed to be outside the HNY by 9.15 for a departure of 9.45.

As we passed through the hotel we noticed Minnie and Mickey Mouse posing for photo's.

I'm not sure what my friend and I were expecting out the front of the hotel but we eventually found a bus stop sign saying Cityrama amongst about 250 people!! There were so many people we couldn't believe our eyes! Inititally we thought they were maybe waiting for a shuttle bus but as the shuttle bus departed with few people on we concluded that they were all waiting for tour buses like we were!!

Around 9.30am about 6 Double Decker Cityrama Coaches pulled up with the language of the tour guide on the front of the coach. We headed off to the English Coach but I recall there being Spanish, Italian and German. We left on time and actually got to Pairs by 10.15 which was when the commentary started. We did have a little problem that President Bush was visiting the city of Paris and our coach was detoured around so the commentary wasn't matching up to what we were seeing! Oh well, never mind! We then went on a boat trip down the Seine for an hour and where then deposited outside The Eiffel Tower where our tour guide was waiting for us.

We were escorted up to the 1st Floor of the Eiffel tower - no queuing for us and then had free time until 4.15pm which was great. My mate and I explored the Tower but didn't go further up as the queue was very large to get extra tickets and I also wasn't fussed about the height either! We then had a nice lunch at a cafe near the Seine before getting back on the coach to do the sighseeing bits we couldn't do earlier in the day.

We arrived back in Disney HNY at around 5.30pm and where it had been dry and sunny in Paris it was obvious as we neared Disney it had been raining all day and still was!! We legged it from HNY to the Sequoia to get our rain macs and then headed into the park for a couple of hours!!

We did BTM, POC and then crossing over the bridge in the pouring rain I slipped and fell hurting my knee but carried on as if nothing was wrong!! There were warning cones out and I was careful but it was so wet that i just went flying! I'd got a fastpass for BTM and was more interested in riding that!! We did BTM in the pouring rain and as the train entered the station we were asked if we wanted to ride again!! Of course everyone erupted into a cheer and we rode again getting even more wetter!!:rotfl2:

We left the park around 8.30 as we had a dinner reservation for Innventions at 9.15pm and I hobbled to the DLH!! After tidying ourselves from the rain and drying out a little we headed to Cafe Fantasia for a drink! The original plan was to have a cocktail but we were so wet and bedraggled that we ordered Hot Chocolates instead!:)

We had to wait for a while for our seat in Inventions but it was the most wonderful meal and character interaction of our entire stay! I will post a seperate trip report on the meal but I would have paid € 50 just for the character interaction our room had with Eyore!! He was in the room for about 45 mins in addition to having gone around tables and having photos and cuddles! I guess he liked our room so much he was dancing away, inviting children to take part, he was trying to see what part of the room could cheer the loudest and his minder just kept taping her watch at the doorway and Eyore just turned his back on her shaking his head!! It was so funny!:rotfl2:

We probably left the restaurant around 11.30pm, very tired and sore and by now my knee had really stiffened up! It took us a while to walk thorough Disney Village and to our hotel but we eventually made it! I had a lovely hot bath and then saw my knee was twice its size and decided I'd deal with it in the morning!!:)

A lovely day in Paris. :goodvibes

Hope your knee soon recovered and didn't give you any problems the next day.

We love Inventions too, we've been twice and had our best character interactons here and the food is so wonderful. Now you've got me all jittery as we had decided not to go this summer because of the cost but oh I wish we were. :worried:

Ahh Elaine, you will have to go to Inventions another time you go to Disney. Maybe sell something on ebay!! I'm not sure what they would say if you offered to do the washing up!

The knee is still sore but recovering slowly!! I have been informed that *** I fell on wood I only bruised my knee cap, had I of fallen on the concrete I would have cracked my knee cap! I can still expect it to be sore for the next 6-8 weeks! Oh well more Disney planning time whilst I sit with my feet up!:cool1:

Sounds like a nice day, other than the bashed knee!! BTM is meant to be awesome in the rain!
