Summer is quickly approaching and with lots of outdoors activities, vacations, getaways, weddings and gatherings. Along with that comes the heat, humidity, chlorine, salt water, etc.. which can equal, dried out, the frizzes, or limp and lifeless hair...

So when leaving a tip, Please include your hair length, color, hair texture, products & /or styling tools and favorite go to hair style.

I have long hair ( middle of my back), blonde, super fine, with a slight wave.

When I head out to the pool or beach, I never go with dry hair, I use a leave in conditioner or comb in a small amount of conditioner once out of the shower. Pull up with a hair clip, and off we go. In my beach bag I keep a hat & kids detangler in a spray bottle with a wide tooth comb to use through out the day, I reapply after getting out of the water. If we are at the beach I do take small bottles ( travel size) of shampoo and conditioner and some kind of mousse or gel to make my hair wavier with me, we normally head for a restaurant for dinner and walking around, (St Armand's circle is a favorite) so we like to shower off.. just can't stand going anywhere with sunscreen, sand and that sticky feeling. I just do a quick wash, use some type of clarifying shampoo (to cut through all the conditioner), a light conditioner or a bit of the kids detangler to make combing through easier and then the gel, scrunch it up a bit and I am good to go.

I bought some of those refillable travel size container and they work really well and it so much cheaper than buying the travel size ones.

Hair Style - I love hair biters in all sizes, you can do a quick clip up, messy bun style or French twist, I do a high pony a lot with a braid wrapped around, or straighten hair wrapped around the hair band, a few bobby pins and your good to go.

I live in Texas with long hair that frizzes out and gets wavy if I leave it alone. I have found that if I use a anti humidity product before I blowdry, that works best. That does not work me for in Florida. Last year my hair looked great on the plane in the pics. On the bus to Disney it looks awful! I struggled with it for a few days and gave up. I'm hoping I can find a better product before our trip.

I have found letting my hair air dry with some flexible styling gel, works great for me. I have thick, wavy/curly mid to long length hair.

After it dries for several hours and I can just fluff it alittle. No frizzies that way. I cannot use a hair dryer or I will get the frizzes.

My friend has this problem, and she uses something by John Frieda when she comes to see Mickey and the gang.

My hair is short (well, grown out enough to be considered almost medium I guess), blonde, and thick. when it gets wet and air dries, it ringlet curls and frizzes. So I bring my blow dryer and flat iron from home to use. I use Bumble & Bumble hairdresser's invisible oil shampoo, conditioner, hair primer, and hair oil. Using the conditioner as a mask for about 5-10 minutes every morning and then using a tiny amount as a leave in conditioner + the oil save me from frizzing out until my next shower at bedtime. Of course, if I go swimming, I have to get a shower right after or it's back to frizztown for me. When it was longer, I would just pull it back into a ponytail or a bun and pray for the best. That was a much easier method, it saved me a lot of time!

I have that horrible not straight, not curly just enough curl to be frizzy hair so I tend to either wear it long so it can go in a pony tail in the summer of just about to my chin in slight layers so I can let it air dry and just kind of fluff it out. If left alone I'd say I'm about 3/4 gray but since I've been dying it since I was in my early 20s don't really know for sure. It was really thick when I was younger but growing older and so many years of treating it has thinned it out so I find shorter more comfortable and easy. I don't wash it every day and usually on the 2nd day will use a flat iron to straighten it out and wear a kind of bob. I've found that it doesn't really matter what products I use on it so I just use Suave shampoo and conditioner.

I have medium length, curly hair. I use some curling gel straight out of the shower. Then a dab of coconut oil to control the frizzies. I used to use a keratin serum, but the oil works better for me and is cheaper. Also, if I can get by with only washing my hair every third day, that results in much better looking curls than an every day wash. But that isn't always possible with sweating at a Disney.
