What was The Living Seas like when it was first opened and how has it changed over the years?

I liked the ride....that they closed last year!

I don't remember dolphins being in it when it first opened.

they also tried to make their mantees a big thing - but I guess they decided that they couldn't compete with SW on this.

And it has some nemo theming now, too. The sea cabs were pretty neat. I love the movie at the beginning and I hope they never change that. -Steph

I really miss the ride too. I think the addition of all the Nemo stuff this year was a nice update though. I can't think of anything else that's changed thru the years...

I just found out that they closed the ride. I told my mother and she doesn't believe me. That was our whole reason for going to The Living Seas. :(

They have a cute dolphin show at the Living Seas. We caught it by accident in June. It is held in the room that is round. They feed the fish first and then hold the dolphin show at the windows when you first enter the round room on the left.

IF the ride is closed, how do you see all the fish. Can you altleast walk through the glass tunnel that the ride went under? With out seeing the fish, what is the point. I won't walk overthere for a film and seabase alpha. My 18 month old is too little to play in there, but he would love to see the fish.

I am glad the tunnel is still there. I have always thought when riding the seacabs, that it was such a short trip that it would be nice to walk it. that way you can see the fish at your own pace.
