Has anyone noticed that there are a number of RELIGIOUS channels in WDW resorts? I always scratch my head over that one.

Yeah, and did you notice that they don't have the Arabic news channel anymore?

They speak to the demographic they are serving though..You would not believe the difference in what I hear in NY and hear in PA..

Remember when they had radio stations from Chicago and NY on the TV? Also, regarding demographics, why the Chinese and German stations then? Rarely see folks from those areas of the world there.

Has anyone noticed that the closer we get to next Tuesday, the more angry a certain segment of our Dis population is getting? I wonder if they just need some herbal tea and a good hug?

Well, that's because they aren't generally used to being proven wrong by the majority.

As for it being cold it's -2.6 degrees at 4:56 in the afternoon here & honestly it doesn't feel that cold....

Course I rented the condo out this weekend at the mountain, I warned my guests to bring layers and warmers... the mountain I'm sure is probably -20 at least at the summit.... Tomorrow morning will be bitterly cold for them, I sort of feel bad for them, they paid a lot of money to come up here and freeze like this Well, at least the conditions are fabulous

Chris, there you go again, giving the cons something to laugh about. Imagine, owning your own vacation home. That's so funny. Ha ha ha. Next one of us will be confessing to paying our bills on time and donating to our college alumni association. You know, funny stuff like that.

When Obama is inarugulated he will pay off my mortgage on it. I do have 4 TV's in it, but none are wide screen or HDTV..Soon though....

Well, I'm worse than all of you. I joined the army for the COLLEGE MONEY not out of patriotism and then went to Europe and on my weekends off, I travelled--I even visited the house where Karl Marx was born. Sometimes, when I was sitting in my patrol car, I read a book instead of running radar--and let the speeders go 'cause I just didn't care! And sometimes, I sweetly whispered socialist things to all the innocent American boys over there. I'm sure I turned a couple of them into commies! Then when I was done, I doubled-dipped and went ROTC in college, so they paid for my college and then some. And still I had a Clinton-Gore bumper sticker on my car. Bwaa haaa haaa.

It gets better. 'Cause one day, I got this huge grant from the federal government to go to grad school to study--you guessed it--commies! I know, it's crazy.

I'm just going to keep riding that gravy train with biscuit wheels, baby! When Obama is president, he's going to buy me 800 shares of DVC and I'm going to invite a bunch of homeless people to come stay with me and guess what? We're going to pool hop!

Edited to add...I do have a country house, but I paid for it with my hard earned (and taxed) income....My DD and her friends are on their way there now. While I clean the bathroom. What's wrong with this picture..

I find people only have the power you give them, and many times, they just aren't worth that.

There used to be this blog called "trainwrecks" where they would point out the biggest trainwreck blogs on the internet, mostly people who were raging narcissists or who had really strange beliefs. It was shut down; they were kind of meanies. However, whenever I miss it, when I find my snark gets out of hand, I have found that there are other, more trainwreck-worthy places on the internet where one can amuse oneself. Free of charge, just like a good commie.
