Yes! He would get instructions from the same kids who instructed him to ski!

I am so glad both your kids enjoyed the mountain! It's pouring here...

Back at ya Mr. Man! ;)

You know that rain never made it this far North. We had about an inch of snow and then NOTHING, that was it. We were promised rain or snow turning to freezing rain or some horrid mix, but thankfully it never came. It did get above 32 though (36), so the snow was getting a little soft when we left :(

Merry Christmas!

We are heading out for Disney tomorrow and I just wanted to wish you all a great holiday. (whatever that holiday may be.) See ya!

Santa visited Al Franken Christmas Eve! :thumbsup2

This was a major victory for Al Franken. Basically the Supreme Court told Coleman that he had no proof for his claims of double ballots being counted and that he better come up with some real proof if he wants to bring an election contest. There was some sort of agreement between the Franken campaign and the Coleman campaign on counting wrongfully rejected absentee ballots. It looks very good for Franken winning this race despite all of the lawsuits filed by Coleman.

Sorry, just getting around to wishing all my fellow progressives, and some who are not so much, a Merry Christmas. Actually, I'm not sure that I might have said that already? It's been a long day. We went to mid-night mass last night, up early to open presents, then again today to church at 10am for the children's services. Both great, but long. Still, what would Christmas be without the beauty of church music and scripture? I know a few seem to believe that all liberals are by nature pagans, but I suspect many of us came to our beliefs by being raised in a religious community that taught what being a Christian really is about. And, of course, that starts on Dec 25th. It is, after all, the reason for the season. Okay, enough, I am tired. (More eggnog, please.)
Again, Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night. :santa:

Hey Profdsny, Pagan here :goodvibes you sound like you've had a busy day, us not so much... kids got up at 7:30, started dinner prep around 9, ate around 2 and now I'm ready for the day to be done :thumbsup2

Conditions at the Mountain are horrendous, so we aren't going back until they improve... 1 of the 3 mountains is totally closed today, and there are only 11 trails out of near 100 open... wind & ice are the culprits :( What a bummer..... Not how I thought I would end my Christmas :sad1:

Merry Christmas!

:wave2: Kids woke up at 5:30 :scared: tore through it all and then went back to sleep until 9:30. I made my breakfast frittatta :cloud9: and then we watched A Christmas Story. We got a huge storm this morning. Its set to start up again tonight so we are off to visit DH at the fire station now so we don;t get caught in the storm.

Tonight is the 5th night of Hanukkah. I didn't plan dinner all that well so I think I'll make chicken Alfredo, salad, and garlic bread. :thumbsup2

I think I know who is going to be first in the line requesting a refund tomorrow - Isaac Robert Toussie's father. I sure hope he kept the receipt.

For those unfamiliar with the latest bit of news, President Bush pardoned Mr Toussie (after he was somehow put on the fast track to a pardon) and then rescinded the pardon once the press published the amount his father had contributed to the RNC.
