Awwww...thanks Mary! :teeth:

On the way home today we drove through a blizzard on I-40. :faint: That was fun! NOT!

And we saw Milk last night! If you guys haven't seen it, I highly recommend it! Bring tissues!

And here I thought you'd have good driving weather.

Once years ago DH and his dad got caught in a blizzard near Santa Rosa on a trip back from Clovis after visiting DH's grandma. The fuel pump broke in the truck they were in, so they had to get out and hitchhike in whiteout conditions back to Santa Fe. They were lucky someone saw them and gave them a ride!

I'm glad you guys made it back okay.

Haven't seen Milk yet, but hope to soon. It's getting great reviews!

Oh, M. I forgot to tell ya'!

We're coming for Christmas day.

I've recently converted to veganism. I only eat raw foods that were born of the earth. Arugula is fine...as long as you have prayed for mother earth and her soul which has so kindly given us her blessings.

And both my terrorists are in town...so they will be accompanying me. They like to sleep by lava lamp...so I hope you have a few spare ones.

After dinner, we have a tree-hugging ceremony...where we light candles and toast to mother earth and her bounty while running barefoot in tye-dyed shirts.

We only drink vegan wine as well. And a lot of it. I prefer a nice Chablis. But, I'll suffer through a white wine if I have to.

Thanks doll! See you in a few! You don't mind the last minute notice, right?

I forgot! I'm bringing all of my Olbermann clips, which I have downloaded onto DVD's and separated them by subject...

1. Bill O The Clown
2. We hate George Bush
3. All things liberal

Happy Holidays, Mir!!!

:rotfl:

My mil has her own long annoying list

Merry Christmas to you too!

Though, I think the times they are a'changing, and the right wing is slightly less vast this year...... ;)

You too! The kids will be skiing in the Pocono's ( not I :goodvibes ) and tubing. My DGS wants to learn snowboarding. Maybe this year, he just turned 8.

Shrimp scampi, biscuits and arugula!!!!ft :flower3:

We're back for the night, the boarding conditions were fantastic for DS & DD even went skiing for a good bit. She was up to it, conditions were good so she went out and had a pretty good time herself :thumbsup2 The rain never came (thank goodness), but it did warm above freezing darn it...

8 is the perfect time to start boarding.... Will he use an instructor? I found and still find that to be essential. Both kids have instructors each weekend and everyday of break.... they progressed quickly, although DS had a strong background before even trying Boarding, so it was fairly easy for him to fall into.

Anyhow, I think it's fantastic that Obama will be sworn in on the same bible used by Lincoln, and he will take the train in from Philadelphia... Now if I could just be on that train :rotfl2:

Do you think it's too late for DS to learn to ski?

My DBF is in Vail as we speak...livin' it up. :sad2: I hate the cold. I told him I'd go if I could shop and drink hot cocoa all day long. ;)

Yes! He would get instructions from the same kids who instructed him to ski!

I am so glad both your kids enjoyed the mountain! It's pouring here...

Back at ya Mr. Man! ;)

It's never too late IMHO, better to start early when you can, but it's never too late to start as long as you're still walking :thumbsup2

Well, I hate the cold, I sit in the condo reading a book or watching TV in front of the glorious fireplace.... the kids can be out with their instructors virtually all day, while I'm toasty warm :thumbsup2
