Wow. We filled up those pages fast.
Who is watching the Compassion Forum on CNN? Not too sure why they picked that name. The word Faith is offensive? I'm an atheist and I'm not offended by it.![]()
I'm agnostic and I'm not offended by it. I'm watching the post-event summary--you know where the talking heads tell us what to think about what we just heard. Is it me--or is the sound track off?
Frankly, I wish we lived in a time when we didn't need to hold a full forum on issues of "faith". It has no place in politics, IMHO.

Thanks for startin' the new thread, Honu!
Stay and bash McCain or Bush, PG!
I never take advice if any is given. (None wasIt's supposed to be our new thread, PG...unless you're taking the advice of...um...others and refusing to talk to any of us mean 'ol Obama supporters.![]()
Do you think either of them have figured out who the players are in Iraq yet?
I never take advice if any is given. (None was)
I just know in which direction this thread will turn so to keep my sanity, I won't hang out much.
Besides you guys talk too much.![]()
Eh, my reasons are purely selfish.I was referring to those on the Hillary thread that say they will not return to any Liberal thread here because of...well...because of us mean ol' Obama supporters. They also advised everyone else to stay and hang out with them, even after the primary season ends.
I will freely admit that there are questions I'd like to have Hillary supporters answer, but as you've all made it clear you don't want to do so, I won't ask them here. Will this thread remain free of any talk about the primary? Probably not. It's kind of the most important thing going on in the world of liberal politics right now. But will it get to the point that the partisan Obama and Hillary threads do? I don't think so (at least, I have no intention of taking it there).

Yes. The players are BP, ExxonMobil, Chevron and Shell.
crcormier - Don't forget about Blackwater and all those others that are getting rich off the blood of Iraq. Sadly, that list is a lot longer than just four companies.
Let's see......flip open the front cover, flip through a few pages, and yes....bookmark inserted!
