MTE! My daughter came running and said "Momma, those people can't sing...AT ALL!"
WASHINGTON Alberto R. Gonzales, like many others recently unemployed, has discovered how difficult it can be to find a new job. Mr. Gonzales, the former attorney general, who was forced to resign last year, has been unable to interest law firms in adding his name to their roster, Washington lawyers and his associates said in recent interviews..............<snip>
Did you guys read the New York Times "expose" about the "McCain Girls"? Turns out, it was only a parody by 23/6...and one that McCain seems to have failed to get.The link is on HuffPost if you want to read the article.

Me too. I skipped the debate last night because I am really not interested in their religion. I watched the re-run of "Hell's Kitchen" insteadFrankly, I wish we lived in a time when we didn't need to hold a full forum on issues of "faith". It has no place in politics, IMHO.
No. Law firms expect associates to work. Former politicians hired as partners are supposed to bring in new business and provide connections. Given Gonzalez's failures, he would be useless at either.

Law firms expect associates to slave.TOO TRUEBut all partners are required to rainmake and bill. A law firm can't stay profitable in this day and age with nonworking partners on the payroll.
It's better than McCain's Beach Boys tribute, I suppose...
