Any comment on how much money their campaign collected in March?

I don't think he was asked about the finances-or if he was I missed it. I just heard him defend Hillary's right to stay in the race and that he liked the Rolling Stones.

Just like the Hillary Supporter's thread is really a Bash Obama and his supporters thread. I've actually tried talking about positive things regarding Hillary on that thread, but they've been met by the sounds of chirping crickets....

This is the LIBERAL thread, not the Obama thread. I see a bit of a difference. Plus I see way more Hillary bashing on the Obama thread than I see Obama bashing on the Hillary thread.

I see it as about even-but then I'm supporting either Democratic candidate for President. If I were supporting one candidate over the other, I'd probably see one side as doing more bashing than the other too.

You can't deny the facts: Obama has publicly said, on 3 separate occasions since Saturday, that Clinton has every right to stay in the race. Still the Clinton campaign says otherwise to whoever will listen.

That isn't bashing. Those are the facts. That isn't an opinion as it is backed up by videotape.

So how is pointing that out "bashing Hillary". Either someone is lying or they aren't? To continue to claim Obama is trying to get her out of the race is lying.

I agree. Except for maybe a few posters, I just don't see the Obama bashing, supporter or otherwise, going on on the Hillary thread. But I'll pay more attention because I might definitely be biased. I agree that I particularly hate to see supporters being bashed.

I do know for a fact that many Hillary supporters don't feel comfortable on the Liberal thread and haven't for a while. Do some of the Obama supporters feel like that too? It's a shame.

Could we please keep the comments about the 'other' Democratic candidate on the 'pro' threads? We're supposed to be working TOGETHER to elect a Democrat. SERIOUSLY!! This thread is proving the old 'saw' about Democrats forming a circle and firing inward. QUIT IT!! PLEASE.

I think that many people come to these boards for fun, not to argue or deal with negativity. Why should they if they don't enjoy it?

Quite honestly, I really wouldn't give too much creedence to the "laughter" of our friends on the other side of the aisle as they've been wrong about everything.

Maybe that's because they can't defend her actions? "Obama keeps saying we should drop out." Ummm...no, he doesn't. "I was under sniper fire in Bosnia." Umm...no, that was a little girl with a poem, not a sniper.

Of course there is...if she weren't bringing such criticism on herself by her continued claims that Obama is saying something that he plainly isn't.

In my opinion, this thread should be the place where we discuss these things. It's the perfect venue, open to both sides of the dispute, and won't intrude on either "supporters" thread's stated goal to focus on the positives of the respective campaigns. Yes, Obama supporters outnumber Hillary supporters here...just like they do in the rest of the country. I don't see how that precludes anyone from posting anything on this thread that supports Hillary. In fact, I'd really appreciate someone from that side of things explaining how she can get the nomination without tearing the party apart by overturning the popular, delegate, and state results. I've yet to see an answer to that question, other than "all the old-time Dems will still support her", which is not only untrue but discounts the millions of people that have registered because of and voted for Senator Obama. I'd like to see answers to how her "experience" with foreign leaders applies since very few of the people she knew from Bill's presidency are still in office around the world. I'd like to see how she claims such a huge experience gap when she's only been in Congress a couple years longer than he has...and both of them pale in comparison to McCain's years in Washington.

There are a lot of things we can discuss if people will just put some of their anger aside - and I include myself in this - and talk about the issues of the two campaigns. Unfortunately, the Hillary supporters don't seem to want to discuss these things. Why that is, I'll leave to them to decide.

That comment about Obama being born in Selma and whether he was lying about that on the Conservative thread interests me. I don't read his comment as that he was literally born in Selma but that he was born of parents that were willing to cross that bridge. It all sounds very symbolic rather than literal to me.

If I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't come-but I also wouldn't whine about why I wasn't here. It would be my choice and not the fault of anyone that posts here. I wouldn't expect anyone to change their behavior or the topics that they discuss to protect me from reading posts that I might find negative.

Sigh... I can't speak for everyone but I'm not willing to discuss these things primarily because I don't think it will do much if any good. I have my reasons for supporting who I do and this smacks a little too much of me having to defend my choice. Frankly, I'm in no mood to do that, period.
