Am I alone in being tired of reading this crap? The BO supporters think he walks on water - SAYS WHO?

If anything Barrack Obama has shown to me that he is NOT like every politician out there which is what attracts me to him the most. But that doesn't mean Hillary was denied a chance to prove that she was the best candidate - she just didn't do it.

"Shame on you Barrack Obama!" - Um honey you can't figure out if you were under sniper fire or not? And you seem to think you had something to do with peace in N. Ireland. Ya may want to tone down the disgust.

Many people who i associate with don't believe the Pastor's comments about "GD America" to be "petty bull". Most are Independents, Reagan Democrats, Senior and/or Vets. Many are just "tuning in".

This is a big issue now & will be a bigger issue in Nov. if he wins the nomination.

(re: HC not keeping her hubby happy....whatever.)

(re: HC freeing Ireland & dodging bullets in bosnia....dumb politicalspeak by a politician...similar to BO droning on how he was a peachykeen community organizer & a really swell state senator.......thankfully McCain is just as capable of dumb politicalspeak.)

1. I don't hold people accountable for the ACTIONS and WORDS of another person. If I was to be judged by my family I would be the biggest racist out there. Just because I am from that - doesnt' mean I am that. But really - hold on to this angle because it is all you've got.

2. Fact is she couldn't - or else he wouldn't be banging every loser he came within 10 yards of. I have a lot of respect for Sen. Clinton and how she handled that situation - but the fact of the matter is the Republicans are going to jump all over it if she wins the nomination. To me it doesn't matter but to a lot of peopel it does.

3. Yep - all politicians do a mis-speak and I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt on that one. Doesn't change the fact that you can't have it both ways. You can't ***** that Obama does it and then deny it when your's does.

No one walks on water here.

And the fact is that it has been Hillary supporters I've had to add to my ignore list - but all the dang conservatives on the other thread are still in clear view.

Uh, no, they're not the same thing at all. Obama actually was a community organizer and state senator. The sniper fire is a fabrication, and being part of the Irish peace talks is exaggeration at best.

I have been a vocal supporter of both candidates from the beginning-and I will still vote for either in the general against John McCain. I've posted on both "supporters" threads and I see a lot of anger on both threads. I do feel that there is more anger on the Hillary thread, but I think that's more about the results than anything else. The Obama supporters would be just as angry if he were behind.

Guess what people-THEY ARE BOTH POLITICIANS!!!! They will both do whatever it takes to win. That's why they're in this. You don't put yourself and your family through this unless you are willing to do whatever it takes to win. Obama has made mistakes and will probably make more-Hillary has made mistakes and will probably make more-HOWEVER, either of them is better than McCain.

Enough sweet talk...you better pick a side, Fitswimmer, or both sides are coming for you next!!! ;)

Here's what great - NO ONE HAS TO PICK A SIDE EXCEPT FOR A HANDFUL OF STATES THAT HAVE YET TO VOTE.

In other words (not directed at LOG) - quit your *****ing about states your candidate already lost! SHE LOST! Why are we still discussing it?

~Amanda

Ya know - I've stayed out of this fight for the most part - but I am going to STRONGLY disagree with you on this one. The only Clinton supporter I haven't seen whining is Robin. The rest of "you" are to busy complaining about BO to realize that your own candidate screwed up. Tiem to grow up people - you can't blame everyone else because your candidate had a crappy campaign.

~Amanda

I said BO & his "operatives"....not his supporters.

&

I've got serious questions about Obama....questions that will be brought into laser focus in the general election....i don't consider it whining, but if you if you want to, it's your right. (but be prepared to get REAL angry during the general election....it's not going to be pretty....no matter how much BO or anyone else wants it to be.)

2) Considering his average donation is just over $100, yes, I think he can keep it up indefinitely...at least through November, which is all that really matters. He's had well over a million different people donate to his campaign...raising money is the least of his worries.

I finally donated to his campaign today. :cool1: I was going to wait until he won the nom, but I can donate again then.

Of course it isn't going to be pretty - it's politics. I've got some serious questions about Obama as well. Surprise Surprise. But as of right now - he's my candidate of choice.

No, you're not alone. :goodvibes

I just keep sending $50 at a time. At this rate I will hit my limit just before the general election. :thumbsup2

I don't doubt that both Obama and McCain supporters will get angry at the other side during the general. That's when we expect the bloodletting...not during the primaries by the candidate that has a 5% chance of winning the nomination....

On the sniper fire-It's just ludicrous. Did she believe she would be able to manipulate everyone on the Bosnia trip into mimicking her "truth?"

Her tall tale wasn't becoming of a First lady, a Senator, and certainly not of a President.

She was explicitly recounting an experience she either had, or one she invented to pad her "foreign affairs" resume. Most people who falsify a resume (and are caught) don't get the job.

I voted for Obama in the primary and I would rather vote for him in the general. I will vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination. Would I be disappointed that my first choice isn't the one? Maybe, but not enough to stay home or vote for McCain.

Alas - LOGIC!

Fair enough. HC is my candidate of choice right now.

(Edwards was my original candidate of choice, fwiw....but he backed out before our primary.)

& i won't talk about your family if you won't talk about mine. ;)

:lmao:

Amanda - You feel the same way I do. Just for a different candidate. I also never thought you were flaming me.

wvrevy - Has Senator Obama taken any money from a union? I know he has been endorsed my many ( including the one I belong to). If you don't think that unions are the biggest special interest groups with agendas to seek, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
I'm glad that Senator Obama is flush with cash right now. He is going to need it, but I don't think for a minute he will turn his back on the former President.

The "grassroots" campaign that the Senator has started out with has been the surprise of the nation. In the fall, however, Senator Obama is going to need big bucks.

I usually just donate to the party and not the candidate. This year will be no different. It probably won't be as much as I want, because I have gas to buy and a war to pay for:rotfl:

I'd just like to take a moment to mention to DisneyDad1960 that anyone who's got 17 posts, has been a DISboards member since '02, and who's first comment after coming out of lurkerdom for who knows how long is "First of all, Laugh O. Grams excellent post" is A-OK in my book!! :thumbsup2 ;)
