My apologies to all of you guys. Though some obviously don't believe it, I really was trying to make peace within the party by making my post. Maybe you don't agree with how I phrased something in that post, but regardless, I really did have good intentions (wait...where's that road lead again? )

I didn't say that to "all" Hillary supporters. It was a specific comment to someone that couldn't be bothered to actually research and said as much.

Just drop it already. Stop saying that I've done all these things without bothering to back it up, and I won't "bash" Hillary or her supporters.

The first two examples I gave - thinking she'd be the better president and better commander in chief - are opinions. They can't really be proved or disproved without putting them both into the office and seeing who did the better job. However, saying that Obama doesn't have any substance is something that can be easily disproved, just by reading his website. There is a ton of material there that, while you may disagree with its intentions, completely disproves the notion that he "doesn't have any plans".

It's kinda like saying that I have the opinion that 2+2=5. That's not an opinion...it's just a false statement.

I read his website. IN MY OPINION, it doesn't actually have a lot of substance. It has a lot of rhetoric and a lot of idealitic campaign promises.

IN MY OPINION, there is a difference between true substance and what he has on his site.

IN YOUR OPINION, his site does have a lot of substance.

Interesting commentary on TV a moment ago. It was noticed that McCain could have offered his plans and ideas to address the real problems of the country during his address last night, but instead he decided to just attack Obama. The ulitmate irony is that he decided to forego substance to whine about Obama being short on substance.

I guess it depends on how you define "substance", then. Personally, I think that this page of his site ( http://www.barackobama.com/issues/ ) does a lot more than spit rhetoric at the twenty different topics it covers. Every topic is linked to another page where he outlines his plans, and even asks for others to submit their ideas.

If that doesn't qualify as "substance", then I would submit you have a standard so high that not a single candidate in this history of this country, much less this election, would reach it.
