Well, at Fox News, the whole thing about Obama attending a madrasa in Indonesia was HUGE! :rotfl:

I just spit my drink out at my monitor, thanks a stinking lot!

So post today's Bush'ism LOL...

We should start a Republican Quote of the Day, save one up for every day of the week... some of these you just cannot make up. Actually, this week has been filled with them

Start a separate thread if you want. I'm loving this.:lmao:

No WAY am I starting anything!! It'll have to be somebody else :rotfl2:

On a very serious aside... Does everyone remember the Bomb Bomb Iran song by John McCain?
Everyone thought that was funny right? "Because he was with a bunch of veterans and veterans joke"
His answer? "If people didn't like it they should get a life"

Okey Dokey then, that's a great way to respect the American People... Just heard this on CNN...

For anyone who thinks the polls have merit; The latest Gallup Tracking Poll, according to Bill Schneider on CNN shows Obama has made up the points he lost to Hillary after the whole Reverend affair. His explanation and his latest speech seems to have made an impact on those who were wavering a bit with their support. I wonder if the Cons will be so enthusiastic about this poll! :lmao:

Have you heard the latest from Bill Clinton? He was talking about Hillary and McCain being the two candidates and how nice it would be having two people who "love" america running, that way they could talk about the issues and not all this other distracting stuff.

I think he should get Keith's worst person of the day award.

1 - Faux apparently had a story up about a "Black Panther" that had endorsed Obama on his site. Turned out, it was just some nut that started a profile page on his website. But Faux has yet to apologize for posting the false story...they're having too much fun race baiting.

2 - My contribution to the quote collection:

(Quick! Somebody phone Al Gonzalez and tell him there were no phones or electricity during the Washington and Lincoln administrations)

How about the "Top Ten Conservative Idiots":

Better get rid of the link...LOVE the column, and read it every week, but don't forget the language that they occasionally use.

Wouldn't want to offend this pristine, genteel group. :lmao:

Two words: Betty Bowers. ;)

I just saw an ad at the top of the page for "Who should be McCain's VP?" and I started thinking...typically, candidates pick someone fairly different from them in order to present a more rounded ticket.

Only one problem: Where is McCain going to find a young, competent conservative? :teeth:

Mc Cain is going to pick Leiberman and I will be fleeing the country if they win...

Is it me, or are there are a few neo-cons who suffer from selective morals? All of thes Obama nasty-threads just amaze me, and to me it says a lot about a few posters. Not all conservatives, but there are a few that spew just ugliness, and they take joy in it.

I have a great amount of respect for how Obama handled his speech earlier in the week, and it shows that he wants to rise above pettiness, and looks towards solutions, too bad a few of those neo-cons don't believe in rising above. But then again, they worship people like Coulter and Rush, so why should I expect them to rise above.

Scenes from a marriage:

We're having a large crowd over for Easter dinner tomorrow and I'm about to go last minute food shopping.

My DH asked that I please buy enough of whatever it is I'm going to send him out for because I ran out.

Ya gotta love it. :lmao:

I'm still trying to get my mind around they don't believe in religious freedom, but they do believe in endorsement freedom.

Religious freedom (Obama-Wright) has consequences, but endorsement freedom (McCain-Hagee-Parsley) is peachy keen.

My apologies, but you can't make this stuff up. :lmao:

I see a pattern of certain conservatives deliberately provoking liberals\Obama supporters - and we seem to flock to them like bees to honey.....

In the Hillary thread we tend to be "anti-Obama" in only that we want Hillary to be the nominee. Most of us (my jury is still out due to the negative campaigning) will vote for Obama if he gets the nod.

I'm going to try to stay away from those "baiting" threads - if we don't respond there - we'll take away their enjoyment away - and maybe those types of threads will be few and far between......

I think most of us recognize a "bait" thread. Plus, it's only fun for them if you don't use logic or ask for proof. Once you attempt an intelligent argument, most of them disappear, but I do see your point. Getting involved in a lengthy snipe fest is counterproductive and a waste of time.
