So is there any alcohol provided on this particular St Thomas excursion? Thanks for any help you may have!

You might be able to find some reviews over on Cruise Critic. Also try Trip Advisor. Good luck!

We did it in 2012. Me, the hubs and our son who was 12. Very nice day trip, friendly crew, and priced right. They met us only a few yards from the ship so easy peasy excursion.

Only downside was that as our time was winding down on the beach a tender ship from Carnival dropped off a bunch of drunk passengers carrying their own cases of beer! We left shortly after and it was mostly humorous - those Carnival ships must be something else!

I can't remember if there was alcohol. If there was, it may have not been included in the price, but available for purchase on board.

There was definitely a bar onboard. Can't remember if something was included, but I don't think it was.

I looked at some descriptions in various places including DCL's website. Based on the price and description I would guess that bottled water and fruit punch (non-alcoholic) are included. The video I looked at, it appears they have a bar onboard. I would think it's a cash bar. When we did the Kittiwake snorkel in Grand Cayman in 2013 we bought cans of bear for $4 a piece after the snorkeling, cash only.

I know this is off topic, but I can't see the St. Thomas Kon Tiki without laughing. In the mid '90s my father-in-law got remarried in the Charlotte Amalie Harbor on the motoryacht Nadine (the one referenced in Wolf of Wall Street). We were lucky enough to get to go on this trip with him for a week. It was honestly the trip of a lifetime.

On our last full day, after cruising the BVIs and USVIs for a week, we were anchored off of Water Island in a small cove. We had the JetSkis in the water, and some of the family had the captain take the helicopter out for a tour of the area. As I was standing on the aft salon waiting for the helicopter to come in for a landing on the upper deck I noted the Kon Tiki coming around the end of the island. I didn't think much of it until it was almost directly behind us. The captain was on his final approach to the yacht and directly over the Kon Tiki when passengers moved from starboard to port to watch him come in to land.

At the time yachts with helicopters and planes weren't very common so it attracted a lot of attention wherever we went that week and was the cause of a lot of funny situations, but this was the funniest. I thought the Kon Tiki was going to turn turtle there were so many people shifting from one side to another to watch. Ever since then I've wanted to sail with them. People looked like they were having a blast.
