I am THE foremost authority on the Lawnmower Tree. I will accept any questions that you have about the Lawnmower Tree. send me PMs or post here. I will post how many questions I have received and how many have stumped me. I warn you I AM THE BEST! I can recite the Lawnmower Tree's exact location by heart and I know things that most cast members still do not know.

So tell us a little about the lawnmower tree. :) My son in law wants to see this so where is it?

Fort Wilderness.
Take boat transportation from MK or the resorts.
Enter from boat dock.
Right after you pass the "Welcome to Fort Wilderness" Sign.

The Lawnmower Tree is on your right.

There's a SIGN:

And look down to see the LAWNMOWER:

I have seen the lawn mower tree in person. Not much to see anymore.

1) Is the story true that somebody left a lawnmover against a tree and it grew around it?

2) Was it an accident?

3) When did it happen?

4) What brand of lawnmower is it?

How old is that picture? I can guarantee you won't see anything like that any more!

The lawnmower and the tree are still there, but you can only see the mearest hint of the lawnmower at the bottom of the tree these days. Give it another year or two and that baby's gone to be completely hidden.

Fun to see, but don't expect anything like the picture.

Sorry, but your "guarantee" is no good.

I just took these pics in early MAY 2006.

So you can expect to see this exact thing for quite a while yet.

I'm afraid not, Robo. I live 3 minutes from Disney, I bike at Fort Wilderness all the time (most recently, last week) and I can assure you, you can only see a few inches of the lawnmower.

I guess so.

2) Was it an accident?

No, the guy decided he wanted a lawnmower tree.

3) When did it happen?

It started growing around the mower on the first day he left it there.

4) What brand of lawnmower is it?

It looks to be a Sears REELGOOD model 1-2-CUTM-UP-90210

You can argue with me about anything else on this thread, but I assure you these are BRAND NEW pictures...
don't know why it MATTERS so much to you but they are absolutely NEW.

I know this because they are digital pics taken from the chip from our new digital camera.

All my other pics of the tree are on video tape.
We never had a digital camera until this trip.
(And the shots are dated on the files).

Terrific. Perhaps the tree has retracted somewhat. With that in mind, I will retract as well.

Enjoy!

:)

So now we are being funny. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Hmmmmm...... I could give more accurate answers than that. :sad2:

A quick Google Serch reveals the following:

Billy Bowlegs is the name of the guy whose old fashioned reel lawnmower was absorbed into a tree near Pioneer Hall in Fort Wilderness. It is a cute little detail. There is not a lot to see but the story is fun. (source: http://forums.*************/showthread.php?t=128 )

Hey CLEO...

What's going on with you today?
A bit groggy?

Its a JOKE. A PARODY of that kid who posted as the "Haunted Mansion KING!"

I tried to come up with the most MUNDANE, BORING, UNINTERESTING thing I could think of to PARODY that kid.

I attemtped to make MY post a dull as I could, all the while claiming to be some "authority" on what is oviously NOTHING!

But you stepped in and jumped me for something that was the ONLY TRUE THING in my posts... the BRAND NEW pictures I just took in May.

Then, you MOVED this (and, of course, you should have... I foolishly didn't make it about Theme Parks.)

So I re-posted with a thread about being the "KING of MK Lockers" (how DULL is THAT?)

And you moved THAT (its about the parks, isn't it?)

Oh well, I finally got to make the point with:

KING of the 3:00 Parade Start time.

ITS a JOKE.

Who could SERIOUSLY claim to know more than anyone else about any major attraction at WDW.

(Heck, the HM is already covered like a blanket on doombuggies.com).

I just have to say that I am having a blast with all of these "KING" threads! This is the funniest thing I have heard in a while!

Nope, not groggy at all today, Robo, but thanks for asking. :) :)

Just curious...why did you think TPA&S suddenly needed 3 PARODYS of a boasting child's post? I'm certain you can understand that gets a bit old for the mods when someone comes along just to stir things up a bit.

I like a PARODY as much as the next person, but really, was it necessary on TPA&S today? Think, my friend! And give us a break. If you had posted on the existing thread it would have been a good laugh. But posting 3 more PARODYS got a bit old.
