'Morning/afternoon sweet YaYas!

How is everyone today? Doing well here... sleep deprived, and fighting the after Christmas blues just a bit, but other than that... just fine. Cam said that Christmas was a little sad for him in some ways, because every year, he feels some of the childlike magic slipping away, and that it's hard for him to accept.

Sigh.... I hate that.

He doesn't seem ready to accept (or understand?) the fact that once you get older, that magic comes from within, not from an outside source such a presents. You'd think the fact that he comes down to a Santa Claus Wonderland every Christmas morning, yet still sometimes experiences the "blues" would tip him off to the fact, that it's not about the presents, but about your attitude and perception of the day's events. Oh well.... guess he'll have to come to grips with it on his own.
Cam is in Star Wars heaven after yesterday. He's downstairs playing the Clone Wars Gamecube game right now, yesterday it was the SW Gameboy advance game, this morning it was reading the SW language guidebook (he can now speak Jawaese, Huttese and Wookiese...

) then there's the 1,000 lb. SW encyclopedia he got from my mom.

Tom and his dad are downstairs playing with the air hockey table that will eventually go out to the Cameron "bachelor pad", and tomorrow I'll be heading to town to redeem the two gift certifcates that Tom and Cameron gave me. Yankee candle, Charming Tails and Zopinni... watch out... here I come!!

I told Tom that the only favorite store he missed was Barnes & Noble.

'Course Elaine was kind enough to give me the book I'm reading now,
so guess I won't have to worry about a B&N visit for a little while anyway.
Thanks so much for your kind words about our little Alex. He was such a sweetie.

I fashioned a little blue ribbon with a cross in the center, fastened it to his stocking and placed the stocking at the top of the stairs instead of it's customary place which is the order that the animals came to us. It made me a little teary when I got the bag of treats out I had set aside for their stockings... I had an extra bag of kitty treats this year.
Jodie's with Mickey!!

How's the weather in Orlando Michele? Sure hope it doesn't rain on the Dream clan.
Nancy, Hooo boy! All I can say is.... nice addition to the lodge indeed.

Oh... and did you find one of the chocolate eggs? Those were everywhere around here this year! Have you ever tried the rasberry eggs? I saw a first this year... a key lime chocolate egg. Didn't get it though, although I was tempted.
Karen, I'm so sorry about your bracelet!!

Sending a little prayer up that it's found soon!
CONGRATS TO NANCY!!! 2K!!! Wahoo!!!
Betty, my condolences to you concerning the loss of your cousin. {{{Hugs}}} to you my YaYa friend.
Well.... I had a slight panic attack Christmas eve after Santa had made his visit and I felt that he really hadn't put out enough goodies for my Monster baby, so I ran and got the combination birthday gift I had set aside for him and Tom.... a nice little rock tumbler... they've wanted one forever. Well... felt good about it Christmas morning, but now have no birthday gift for them. Poop.

Will have to run to town tomorrow and try to come up with something.
Just for the record... Jennifer and Jeannie's siggies still make me smile!!!
Betty, glad to hear Christmas with the ILs went well afterall.
Nancy, what DVDs did you get? We received a ton too. Actually... I bought a ton for Cameron. Lilo & Stitch, Back to the Future trilogy, old Muppet Show highlights, SW Ep. 1, ummm.... ack! Drawing a blank on the rest.

We watched Ice Age last night... pretty cute!
Marilyn, too cool! You must've had a ball going through the packages from Beth and Dave! You guys are just so sweet to have done that!

I still have Jodies' little WDW pkg. sitting here.

It'll go out soon Jodie... I promise!

Hey there Maggie, Ann and Cookie!!

It's always so nice to have visitors here at the YaYa lodge. Come by anytime!
*Sigh* Off to look for a way to fight the *Ho Hums* I seem to be experiencing today.
