Well, 3 down now. Julian woke me up at 3:30 a.m. to tell me he barfed all over the floor. After cleaning everything up, spraying a TON of Lysol, and getting him back to bed........I go back to bed and I CAN'T SLEEP!! I reset the alarm, finally started to doze off, and there is another knock from Julian. I maybe got to sleep another hour total after that, but man, I feel like I've been run over by a bus, and I am so nauseous.

I'm glad they are getting this over w/ before Christmas and their break, but, sheesh!! I don't know how much more of this I can take.

Its gonna be a LOOOONG day.

Hmmm...skimmer....do you mean do I skim the posts? Nope...I don't dare right now or I'll NEVER figure out who's who and who's doing what! Baaaad day. One of my people goofed up pretty good yesterday and caused a good amount of extra work for others. I apologized to the other manager, sent a memo out to my people with a new procedure, etc, etc. The other manager was still very piffy with me.

Marilyn says "well, if you can't accept an apology, then take this you witch!"

Marilyn gets her with a left jab, then a right jab, then an upper cut! She is down for the count!

Yea! Marilyn doing the happy dance!

Hello, all. I feel the need for a hug and some morale support.

Got home from work yesterday to a family "emergency". My problem child (DS-age 23 who is bi-polar with ADHD) was dropping his sister off at the airport to go to Scarborough, England for Christmas. It was her car, she never renewed the tags on it last summer and the cops got him. His driver's license has been suspended for what seems like forever, so he got himself arrested for driving without a license. The best part is that he is already on probation for something else (he never did tell me what) so he's really in hot water now. We had to go pick him up from the police station then go to the airport and get the car out of the parking lot (thank God the police didn't impound it!). Could not convince him to leave the car with us until DD gets home to renew her tags. I simply cannot believe the hole he has dug for himself! He has to be back up here tomorrow morning for arraignment and has been told he will get a January court date. I have also found out that the car, which has a standard transmission, no longer has 3rd gear, the dashboard lights don't work, the fan for the heater doesn't work and the hood won't open without a pry bar becuz some idiot kid in an SUV backed into it in the parking lot at 7 Eleven and mashed it. Insurance paid $450 for it, but my DD (D is for DUMB, here!) didn't bother to get the car fixed, she just spent the $$.

I feel like such a failure as a mom, even though I know I didn't teach them to behave like this! Daggone, but it hurts.
