I am burning CDs of all my pics. I got my Roxio CD creator working and now that I have backed up a ton of stuff from my hard drive, I am making copies of pics for everyone.

So Caitlin has a boyfriend. Now the worries begin!!!! Not really, she sounds as if she is a terrific kid. Not dancing with the 8th grade body piercer was a wise decision. Really, how bad can she be if the first thing she does is talk to mom. Sounds like the two of you have a great relationship.

Hi Michele. I haven't been around much lately either. Guess the holiday preperations are keeping a lot of us busy.

Karen, just take a deep breath. It is that time of year that kids go a little crazy. Most kids make a bad decision about behavior at least once. It is normal. I am sure that everything will work out. If you want to hear what my little Angel has done in the past that required a call home, I will surely share. Just want you to know that we all have gone through this. Quit looking at other threads. Stay with us. We all understand that ADHD children are fine. We will give you all the support you want.

Good afternoon Nancy. Good to hear that my little boy will still be wanting toys into his twenties. I would love to make them little again. Second thought, maybe for just 24 hours.

Well, we just got back from Toys R Us. I had no idea where anything was. Been a long time since I spent some time in there. We got Madden 2003 and the Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets for Chris. He should be one happy 18 year old.

Okay Im totally convinced I am going to need drugs by the end of the day. I currently am listening to Mozart's Seranade being played on the viola over and over fighting with my ds to practice the entire time and being told Im MEAN. He has a performance tonight and his Mozart's Seranade is pittiful. He needs all the practice he can get since this is the class I got called by the teacher and principal on. He's been messing around in class and not doing what he needs to do. He loves the viola or so he says but hes really messing around in the class. Right now the hair on the back of my neck is standing up. It just sounds so LOVELY noooooooooooooot ROFL

Betty I will take your advice and just not venture out on the CB any more than I absolutely have to. Its not safe out there ROFL. I will stay warm and cozy here in the lodge. It was my own fault really. I should know better than to read threads like that because I always end up getting myself upset over the comments.

Betty Im sure you are right.....at least Im praying you are right. Right now it sounds pittiful and he is one of only a few kids that will be there tonight so his not playing well will be very noticiable.

Im giggling right now because I am remembering a conversation about kids doing projects and homework from a couple of days ago. This is the exact problem I have with practicing the viola. If he would stop and just practice he would get better faster and get done faster. I think I have lived through every excuse that was listed, I think it was in Kims post, today except for the dog because we dont have one ROFL. Im waiting for him to invent one hehehehehehehehehehe

First things first! Pam, what a crappy week you've had!! Someone get this girl a ski instructor and a smoothie QUICK!! I'm so sorry to hear about James Bond!! Losing pets is HARD, no way around it. I have two, that I'm expecting to lose someday soon. I have an ancient kitty and doggy that I don't expect to last too much longer. Bless their hearts. Losing them to old age isn't as hard as losing them due to an accident or illness though. Hugs to you Pam!

Bonnie, what movie did you go see with the girls?

Beth, I'm anxiously awaiting your Star Trek review! Do you know if we can expect Voyager movies any time soon? Oooh, I would LOVE that!!!

Beccy, thank you. No, I don't have a bat ready, but I imagine I might have to find one someday soon. Actually, he's already been promised to Jennifer's sweet daughter, so maybe I should just have him wear a nametag that states he's already spoken for.

Did someone say a thigh lamp? Who's thighs?? These would do nicely as a model for the lamp, dont'cha think?

Just checking in before I head out the door. DW & I are going to see Treasure Planet in IMAX. Already got our tix, now we just need to fight the crowds.

Jeannie, I tried to convince DW to let me get that lamp, but she looked at me like I had lobsters crawling from my ears. Maybe if I add some flamingos to the yard. And some gnomes. Oooo...and a rusted out old car!! But if I do get the lamp, I'm keeping it in the original form. The Leg of Lady. Ahhh... what a great lamp! And it'll go great right in the front room window!!

Kim, I guess I'll have to get a smaller car. Or extend the driveway. Or clean out my garage. No wait, that won't work either. Still not enough room in there. See? This is what we telecommuters have to deal with. I save the environment by not having to commute to work every day, but they complain for not parking according to their rules on my own property. Sheesh!

Hemorrhoid ring wreaths! Now why didn't I think of that? If we decorate the ski lodge with those then we can make snowflakes out of the Tuck Pads. These decorations are so soothing to the touch. Oh Jeannie you bring the holiday creativity out in me.

Kim I am learning to scan as I am writing this. Don't know if I will be able to learn how to post them. I am still working on emailing them. I am a very bad student. Actually, Steve just assumes that I know everything about the computer like he does and seems to skip steps. He also gets so frustrated with me because I am an on hands type learning and he just likes watching someone do it. We have totally different learning styles.

Afternoon gang!! Girl Scout Christmas party is done...my ears are ringing from "cool" Christmas tunes blaring from the stereo...sequins, sequin PINS, broken Christmas ball and 3 pounds of crushed food have been vacumned and it is time for a REST!!! Quote of the party..."I bought that for you Mrs. Y.. It looked boring to me but I thought you would like it!!!" BWAHAHAHA!!!! Ya gotta love em...and I DO!!! They are the most awesome girls! I didn't do too bad with the party food...it's tough when those big eyes look into yours and ask "Aren't you going to eat any of my food Mrs. Y.? I made it all myself!!! AUGGHH!! So I took a bite of each...oooo'd and ahhed and will do an hour on the bike tonight!!
They are worth it though. My assistant leader gave me the most thoughtful gift....a book to read in front of the fire at the Widerness Lodge, some fat free hot choc. to drink while I read and some Power Bars so I won't be tempted to eat those magic cookie bars that I usually get on a daily basis when we are there!!! Now wasn't that nice?? This has been the most awesome week for people making me feel special!!!!
